Thanks to specialist funder City Bridge Foundation, we are running a pilot scheme to match chairs for co-mentoring. You don't have to be a member of the Association of Chairs, but we ask that you or your charity be based in or serve Greater London. Find out more about the benefits of this particular scheme: https://lnkd.in/eQyUaaW6 Image description for accessibility: 'Extra support, advice and encouragement, If you or your charity is based in or serves Greater London, join our co-mentoring scheme' reads white text on a teal background. We're welcoming Milla Mazilu as our new Large Charities Special Interest Group chair. Milla will be succeeding Helen Baker DL (former chair of Shelter), in post since 2018. Helen said, "Milla clearly combines knowledge of operational management on the ground with a real interest in how large and complex systems work. Her willingness to take on the chair of this network will be very much appreciated by colleagues." Milla Mazilu is chair of trustees for the Association for Project Management. She is particularly looking forward to leading the group in discussions around "technology, data, and analysis in improving outcomes, and board dynamics and executive-to-chair relationships". In autumn 2024 nfpResearch undertook a survey, segmentation, and analysis of EDI practices on charity boards. Our new EDI guide, 'It starts from the top', shares many of the headline statistics from the survey. You can now find out more about the data behind the report and read about the process nfpResearch undertook. Click here to find the survey PDF: https://lnkd.in/eT-7jrgd. A big thank you to our supportive community. Hundreds of you answered the survey, and it's because of you that we have been able to help the whole not for profit sector to better understand EDI progress and challenges. Image description for accessibility: Cian Murphy stands behind a lectern, in front of a room full of people. He is gesturing towards a screen, which is partly visible. A curved white element placed at the bottom of the image has the Association of Chairs logo on it with the tagline Effective chair Effective board Effective non-profit.
