Como parte dessa jornada, em novembro, tivemos uma experiência transformadora no Microsoft Innovation Hub, em São Paulo. O evento impulsionou nosso desenvolvimento e nos inspirou a explorar o uso de ferramentas de inteligência artificial, além de novas possibilidades de capacitação de profissionais, como as iniciativas de AI Genius e Programa de Acreditação em AI. O encontro contou com a presença de executivos da Microsoft UK, destacando a importância do Brasil nas parcerias estratégicas entre a companhia e a AstraZeneca. Durante a sessão, exploramos o potencial da Inteligência Artificial Generativa (GenAI) e ferramentas como o Copilot, entendendo como essas tecnologias podem simplificar processos, otimizar decisões e impulsionar inovação no nosso dia a dia para transformar mais vidas, mais rápido. We've seen a shift toward earlier cancer diagnoses and treatments, but current value assessments may not fully capture the benefits of oncology medicines in early stages. The Access to Innovative Medicines in Cancer (AIMC) initiative, organized and funded by AstraZeneca, has united 27 experts to improve global access to oncology medicines. Today, we're excited to release the AIMC report: "Improving Access to Innovation: A Global Vision for How to Evolve Value and Access in Oncology." It outlines six key recommendations and 19 actionable steps to enhance value assessment and access to innovative cancer treatments. Recently, a ceremonial raising of the flags celebrated progress on this cutting-edge biotech research facility, developed by Breakthrough Properties and designed by UNStudio. Specifically tailored to support AstraZeneca's Cell Therapy R&D, the site will play a vital role in achieving our Scope 1 and 2 decarbonisation targets and is designed to earn a BREEAM Outstanding rating.   Sustainability is embedded in every aspect of One Helix. Geothermal heating and cooling, solar energy, and the use of biobased materials set a new benchmark for responsible construction. In Cleusa’s rural community in São Paulo, a local initiative played a crucial role in the early diagnosis and treatment of her lung cancer. The initiative focuses on promoting lung health equity by improving screening and early detection of lung diseases in underserved communities.
