City of Glasgow Swim Team highlights from the Scottish Nationals Short Course. Charlotte & Shannon are integrated into the swim club as the physical preparation provider. We provide science-led land training to a range of squads from junior development to high performance. The best-kept secret in Glasgow sport??? Athlete Focused’s Female Athlete Rehab Group. It’s great to see athletes from netball, football, basketball, and dance all coming together in the same session, working towards their return to sport. The relationships developing within the group have been incredible to witness, and it’s equally rewarding to see our strength and conditioning (Ewan Law) and physiotherapy (Jennifer Graham) team collaborating. I love being able to drop into these sessions and see the outstanding work being done, although I think I probably distract most of the athletes by talking too much! I’d love to collaborate with any businesses, NGBs, etc on the initiative so please DM me if you’re interested in helping female sports people get back to sport!
