Connecting people to water through creative content🌊🌍
About us
Atlantean Media is a global digital content strategy and creation company specialising in water. Our mission🦸♂️🦸♀️ Water is life’s greatest, yet most under appreciated resource. Solutions to the global water crisis exist, yet are often plagued by uninspiring communication. We’re hell-bent on changing this. How? We knit together three elements to challenge the status quo: creativity, a curated global network and solid industry knowledge. The result? Meaningful content that provokes, inspires and connects. Our Vision 💥 We believe in a future of abundance. Where access to clean water and local healthy environments are normal. Where relationships between water consumers and providers are positive. A world where siloes have been smashed, not blamed and solutions are scaled and rolled out equitably; not only for the rich or fortunate. We believe creative storytelling can connect the dots to get us there.

We had such a brilliant time with the Atlantean crew celebrating 2024! 🎉 What better way to see off the year than spending it by the sea!? 🌊 We had a (fairly friendly but competitive 😉) game of indoor cricket at Sixes Social Cricket 🏏 then on to Terre à Terre for a delicious vegetarian feast! Well done to Rachel Pilch who managed to pip the team to the post for 1st spot 🏆 (she was batting on beginner and others were on 'world champ.' Maybe a rematch is in order?!) If you need us, we'll be practicing our next indoor sport ready for our next social. 🏀⚽⚾🎳 Tom Freyberg Neil Henty Rose Hernu Amy Wass #teambuilding #creativeagency #climatetech #brighton

"The future of water management lies in the integration of technology and data." 💧⚙️ The brilliant Dragan Savic FREng joins Will Sarni and Tom Freyberg on the latest episode of The Stream podcast! 🎙️ Will and Tom share their privilege of working with Dragan in recent years on an advisory board, at KWR Water Research Institute, and at various events. 🎓 Dragan shares his academic journey, from obtaining his master's in Belgrade to moving to Canada, the UK, and ultimately to University of Exeter (Tom would say it's probably the best university in the world, although, as a graduate, perhaps he's personally biased)! 🎲 They discuss the role of 'chance' in career success and how to increase your odds by being open to new opportunities and embracing change. 🧠 As well as touching on topics such as AI and population degrowth, Professor Savić discusses his desire to focus on development in Africa in the next phase of his very fruitful career. 🎥 We hope you enjoy the episode: https://lnkd.in/ezYyUmfE 🔔Make sure to subscribe to The Stream on YouTube to be the first to see next episodes. #water #hydroinformatics #AI #innovation #thestream #podcast

Morocco is set to build Africa's largest desalination plant in a major step towards securing water access for millions. 💧 French-based Veolia will build the plant, located on the Atlantic coast near Rabat. The project forms part of the Moroccan national energy strategy, launched by King Mohammed VI, which aims to strengthen water supply security and to face the challenges of climate. The deal also builds towards the nation's National Water Plan, agreed in 2020, which set out an investment plan to restore water availability in the country. In 2023, King Mohammed VI allocated an additional budget in support of the National Program for Drinking Water Supply and Irrigation 2020-2027 (a subset of the National Water Plan), which included plans for three new desalination plants. Aquatech explores the story here: https://lnkd.in/evByyPZM

As a communications agency helping to connect people to water through creative content, we have seen firsthand how vital it is to everyone all over the world. 💧 This holiday season, join us in making a significant impact on global water security. We're supporting the wonderful folks at Frank Water to raise £60,000 for clean water. From midday tomorrow (Dec 3rd) until December 10th at noon, all donations to Frank Water’s Clean Water for Life Big Give Appeal will be matched, doubling your contribution. This is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your commitment to social responsibility and sustainable development. Water pollution is a global challenge, but it’s impacting those living with water scarcity the most. When families are forced to rely on polluted water sources, it leads to devastating diseases and serious health problems caused by drinking contaminated water. Frank Water's approach goes beyond short-term fixes: 💧 Community-led initiatives ensure long-term water security 💧 Focus on training local leaders, particularly women, in water management 💧 Implementation of nature-based solutions for sustainable water access Your support will enable Frank Water to provide communities with the knowledge and resources to manage their water resources effectively and responsibly. We believe that everyone, everywhere, should have access to safe drinking water... we hope we can make a positive impact by supporting this amazing charity. You can donate from midday tomorrow and double your impact- mark your diary! https://lnkd.in/e-fWXhHX #BigGive #BigGiveChristmasAppeal #CorporateSocialResponsibility #SustainableDevelopment #CleanWater
