UECC turns regulation into opportunity with sustainable shipping The drive for decarbonisation in maritime logistics is accelerating, and UECC is turning it into a competitive edge. With FuelEU Maritime now fully in force, shipping companies are turning to alternative fuels. UECC’s Sail for Change programme and investment in multi-fuel LNG battery hybrid vessels show how regulation can be leveraged for commercial advantage. 🔹 FuelEU Maritime & EU ETS are pushing shipping towards low-carbon alternatives – but UECC was already ahead of the curve. 🔹 With five LNG hybrid vessels in operation and more on the way, it is set to exceed compliance targets until the late 2030s. 🔹 The Sail for Change programme is offering OEMs the chance to cut supply chain emissions now – with Ford Motor Company, JLR and Toyota Motor Corporation already onboard. 🔹 By securing long-term bioLNG supplies, UECC is not just meeting regulations – it is shaping the future of sustainable vehicle logistics. As the regulatory landscape tightens, how can shipping and logistics operators turn compliance into a strategic advantage?
