An achievement that I am proud of for 2024! Not only my first guest speaker opportunity for the Racial Equality in Nuclear Podcast, but wow, what an honour and priviledge to do this with Mark Lomas, Chartered FCIPD!! Have a listen on the topic of career development for people of colour: key take aways at the individual level are be bold, brave and take accountability for your career path - it is your agenda and story to drive!! Also great advice on networking for introverts!! Take aways for organisations are invest in reverse mentoring, mentoring and sponsorship programmes as targeted interventions to support career pathways of people of colour at work. A few words of thanks to the people that have supported my career development as a woman of colour. The atmosphere was lively, and the company made it all the more enjoyable. Looking forward to more such events!
