📢 We are pleased to announce that we have signed an agreement to acquire 100% of the shares of Haarla Oy, a specialty distributor of food ingredients and industrial chemicals based in Finland. 👉 Haarla Oy has a well-established position in the food ingredients market and across various industrial chemicals segments, and its product portfolio strategically enhances Azelis’ lateral value chain, reinforcing its footprint in Life Sciences and Industrial Chemicals in the Nordics. Haarla Oy brings a diversified base of over 300 customers and longstanding business relationships with renowned principals, which complements Azelis’ own set of principal partnerships for the region. Gert Schnoor, Managing Director Azelis Nordics, comments: “The addition of Haarla to the Azelis group is consistent with our objective to strengthen our position in the markets we serve. For the second time this year, Azelis has been recognized for its sustainability efforts at trade shows, thanks to the fantastic work of our partner Pitchkoff. ♻️ Better Stands, a program which aims to reduce single use disposable stands at exhibitions in favor of reusable structures, awarded Gold to the Azelis stand at the 2024 edition of CPHI, in Milan. Following a strict evaluation grid established by Better Stands, our stand was recognized for the reuse of its structure and various materials - flooring, graphic elements, facilities, etc. This way of designing our stands allows a massive reduction in waste, compared to fully disposable items. 🎊 Congrats and thanks to the Azelis team behind this work, and to Pitchkoff who made it all happen. 📰 We’re excited to share that Azelis Türkiye has recently been featured in a special publication, Foreign Direct Investment in Türkiye Century, issued by YASED International Investors Association, an influential NGO in Türkiye since 1980 representing international companies. The publication highlights the contributions of 178 international companies, including Azelis, which have played a crucial role in Türkiye's socio-economic development.
