Baby Cow is thrilled to unveil a first look at our upcoming project, 'Brian & Margaret', charting the historic final interview between Margaret Thatcher and her longtime friend Brian Walden, coming to Channel 4 next year. Starring the brilliant Harriet Walter and Steve Coogan, written by James Graham, directed by Stephen Frears, executive producers are Sarah Monteith, Delyth Scudamore and Rupert Majendie, produced by Dan Winch. Based on Rob Burley’s book 'Why is This Lying B****** Lying to Me?: Searching for the Truth on Political TV’. 1989. When Brian and Margaret came together for their last ever TV interview, little did they know they were about to embark on one of the most famous political exchanges of all time. The 45-minute showdown became a national talking point and set in train a series of events that ended with Margaret’s resignation. Afterwards, they never spoke again… A huge thank you to our wonderful cast and crew, and to the exceptional Channel 4 team for bringing this compelling story to life. https://lnkd.in/eMkeR8H7

Thrilled to announce the return of not one but two more series of our much-loved comedy Changing Ends! Baby Cow are incredibly proud to make this show with our brilliant cast and crew and wonderful team at ITV! https://lnkd.in/eVEFNGix After becoming the biggest new half hour comedy launch on any channel this year, the hugely popular Changing Ends has been recommissioned for a third and fourth series on ITVX & ITV1. Since the series 1 launch, Alan Carr’s semi autobiographical comedy has been streamed over 13 million times on ITVX and been nominated for various awards throughout 2024. The new 6 x 30 third and fourth series (12 episodes in total) will again be made by multi award winning Baby Cow Productions (Gavin & Stacey, Alan Partridge) and recorded back to back, transmission details TBC. Changing Ends is based on Alan’s own life in Northampton in the 1980s growing up as the son of a fourth division football manager. The series is produced by Baby Cow Productions, written by Alan Carr, co-written by Gabby Best and was co-created by the late Simon Carlyle. The director is Dave Lambert and the producer is Mollie Freedman Berthoud. The Executive producers are Baby Cow’s Sarah Monteith and Rupert Majendie, Alan Carr and Danny Julian. Baby Cow is one of BBC Studios owned production labels. BBC Studios are handling the international distribution of both series. All episodes from series 1 & 2 are available to watch for free via ITVX. Alan Carr said “To get your own sitcom recommissioned for a series is the most wonderful news ever, but to have TWO series recommissioned is utterly mind-blowing and such a huge compliment which I do not take lightly. I know how much this show has resonated with the viewers and I promise I won’t let you down, and for someone whose actual life at times feels like a sitcom, believe me there are more tales from my childhood to be told. Two series commissioned eh? My dream of Changing Ends becoming Northampton's answer to The Crown becomes two steps closer to being a reality.” ITV’s Head of Comedy, Nana Hughes said “Changing Ends continues to grow into becoming one of our most popular comedies with audiences clearly loving the early adventures of little Alan Carr. The cast is simply superb and the heart warming storytelling has clearly struck a chord with our viewers.” Baby Cow’s CEO Sarah Monteith said "We’re delighted that ITV have trusted us with not one but two more series of our hit comedy Changing Ends. We’re having fun with Alan’s early-teens era, it’s getting emotional!”

Baby Cow are delighted to announce the return of our much-loved series 'Changing Ends'! Series 2 drops on ITV and ITVX this summer. We're incredibly proud to make this show with our brilliant cast and crew! https://lnkd.in/gnBcDdpB After its success last year, becoming the biggest comedy ever on ITVX with 6.5 million streams, Alan Carr’s semi autobiographical comedy is back for series two. The second series will simultaneously drop as a full series box set on ITVX and air weekly on ITV1 primetime. Reprising their roles as the Carr family for a new run of episodes are Oliver Savell (young Alan), Shaun Dooley (Graham Carr), Nancy Sullivan (Christine Carr) and Taylor Fay (Gary Carr). Also returning are the Carr’s neighbours, the Hudsons, played by Gabby Best (Angela Hudson), Harry Peacock (Nigel Hudson) and Rourke Mooney (Charlie Hudson). Changing Ends is based on Alan’s own life in Northampton in the 1980s growing up as the son of a fourth division football manager. The second season picks up shortly after the first, as young Alan contends with impending puberty and feeling sidelined by his family. With Graham Carr distracted by Northampton Town FC who are battling for promotion can he be there for his son when he most needs him? The series is produced by Baby Cow Productions, written by Alan Carr, co-written by Gabby Best and was co-created by the late Simon Carlyle. The director is Dave Lambert and the producer is Mollie Freedman-Berthoud. The Executive producers are Baby Cow’s Sarah Monteith and Rupert Majendie, Alan Carr and Danny Julian.
