Ecotricity announced as new green energy supplier for albert’s Creative Energy Scheme. From keeping the lights on in the studio to making sure the kettle works in the post-production house – energy is the lifeblood of every production. But balancing our reliance on power with the need to make sustainable choices can be challenging. That is why in 2019 albert launched the Creative Energy Scheme. The scheme is designed to allow those working in the creative industries to access renewable electricity at an affordable rate. Today we’re thrilled to announce that Ecotricity, Britain’s greenest energy company, has been confirmed as the new energy partner for the Creative Energy Scheme. * To find out more about the scheme and how albert and Ecotricity could help your company make sustainable energy choices, click here: https://lnkd.in/eS8vwyxA * Eligibility to join the Creative Energy Scheme remains at the sole discretion of Ecotricity based on their qualifying criteria. #energy #sustainability #electricity #renewables #greenenergy #sustainableproduction #filmmaking #filmproduction #television #filmandtv #climatechange #renewableenergy #BAFTAalbert #BAFTA #ecotricity

We work in the dark to serve the light... ✨ We loved celebrating Assassin's Creed last Friday, looking back on the past 17 Years of this legendary franchise. From an important keynote lecture from Ubisoft's Marc-Alexis Côté to a panel with performers Abubakar Salim, Alix Wilton Regan, Melissanthi Mahut and Victoria Atkin - it was a joy to delve deeper into the world of this long-standing and beloved game.

One for the history books! We’re presenting Horrible Histories with a BAFTA Special Award in recognition of the show’s extraordinary cultural and social impact and the joy it has brought people of all ages throughout the incredible fifteen years it has graced our screens. Lion Television, the production company behind the iconic series, will receive the honour as part of a special presentation next month. We’ll be celebrating Horrible Histories’ remarkable longevity, innovation and relevance, from addressing important and diverse areas of history, to its legacy as a springboard for British comedic talent and impact on the school curriculum. BAFTA Young Presenter Jeriah Kibusi stopped by Henry VIII’s dressing room to deliver the good news ahead of next month’s event - though that didn’t stop Henry practicing his acceptance speech!
