Empowering Students in Łódź! 🌟 This Monday, Basecamp Łódź Rembielińskiego had the honor of joining the Gala Kosmicznych Stypendiów organized by the Łódź City Council as part of their scholarship program Młodzi w Łodzi During the ceremony, our BaseManager, Piotr Wiśniewski, proudly presented symbolic vouchers worth 5,000 PLN to the scholarship winners. Basecamp was delighted to sponsor two scholarships, offering students an attractive discount on their accommodation at our Rembielińskiego property. 🏠✨ At Basecamp, we’re passionate about empowering young talents and are thrilled to support the Młodzi w Łodzi program. This week, together with Xior Student Housing, we had the pleasure of participating in the prestigious EAIE: European Association for International Education #Conference in the stunning city of 🌍 #Toulouse! Over three action-packed days, we engaged in productive meetings, hosted engaging stand visits, and made valuable connections through exciting networking events and social gatherings. It was an enriching experience that brought fresh energy and ideas to our mission. A huge shoutout to our dedicated team Anna Leśniok 🔥 Robin Cremers, Júlia Tor Iglesias, and Alexander Juel Rosentorn for their fantastic collaboration. While brief, this experience will undoubtedly foster new partnerships, strengthen our connections, and bring our properties even closer to the academic world. Next stop: Gothenburg 2025 - we’re ready! 💪 🛫

One of our favourite initiatives is organizing events for the students that bring them together in a fun, inclusive way - like our recent "Around the World Potluck"! This event wasn’t just about food; it was about celebrating diverse backgrounds. Everyone brought a dish that represented their country, sharing both flavours and stories from across the globe. 🌎 Through these social gatherings, we aim to build deeper connections, foster understanding, and strengthen the bonds that make our student dorms feel like a community. Welcoming a fresh group of students to their new home at Basecamp! 🏠 Our process starts with a warm check-in to ensure everyone feels comfortable and settled in. In the afternoon, we arrange a fun get-together and a special walk-through of the dorm to help our new residents discover all the little secrets and fun stories about their new home. It’s a great chance to meet new #friends, hear about the experiences of the onsite team and learn how to make the most of all our facilities – from study spaces to social hangouts.
