We are seeking a motivated individual to lead the Women’s Basketball Wales National League. As the BWNL Women’s Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the league, from scheduling games to ensuring compliance with regulations and reporting to the BWNL committee. The role would require the successful candidate to sit on sub committees of the Basketball Wales board. Role includes: 1. Working with the BWNL Lead and committee in developing the league 2. Coordinating with teams, coaches, and officials to ensure smooth operation of the league 3. Working with our Brand and Media Lead in marketing and promoting the league to increase visibility and participation 4. Managing budgets and financial operations of the league 5. Leading efforts to recruit and retain teams 6. Monitoring and evaluating the performance of the league to identify areas for improvement If you have a strong background in basketball and leadership skills, we want to hear from you! Been a great experience this year creating content for Basketball Wales - Pel Fasged Cyf. I’ve especially enjoyed making social content for the BWNL. A fast-growing league with so many great stories, teams and individuals. This recap I shot and edited, is of the cup final between Cardiff Met Archers Basketball Club and R.C.T Gladiators which took place in Bangor University recently. Really grateful to the whole of team involved in Basketball Wales - Pel Fasged Cyf especially Carwyn Thomas Dafydd Jones and Kate Murray Gordos for giving me the opportunity this year to bring these athletes stories to life🎥
