Award season really is a rollercoaster 🏆🎢 One week you’re perfecting your ‘better-luck-next-time’ nod, and the next…  well, perfecting it some more! 😅 Turns out, our victory speech is going back in the drawer – for now! Despite the lack of a new trophy for our shelf, being shortlisted for two awards is a reminder of just how far we’ve come - building a network that drivers can rely on, and having a team and partners that suit up and show up, trophy or no trophy. So, with our drone in the sky, we’re sharing another perspective on a project that’s all about seeing possibilities where others saw empty, contaminated forecourts. How it started vs how it’s going… #EVIEs   Start of the night: Sharp suits, glamorous dresses, confidence dialled up ✨   End of the night: Ties loose, shoes kicked off, and our best ‘oh-well-maybe-next-time’ pose 😅   We didn’t hear our name called this time, but this week has reminded us why being part of this team, surrounded by our partners and backed by our amazing EV community, is a win in itself. Proof that community, commitment, and a touch of chaos can lead to some pretty incredible achievements.   A fantastic night overall – huge kudos to all the other winners and nominees driving this industry forward. Cheers all around! 🥂

From newcomers to top 4 in the UK! 💚🎉 This one’s for the books: we’ve been voted the fourth-best large rapid/ultra-rapid charging network in the UK by the Zapmap community, and it’s all thanks to the real MVPs – our drivers! Not long ago, we weren’t even on the list; we were too small and too new! But, at the beginning of 2024 we stepped back, took in driver feedback, and promised a better and simpler charging experience for everyone. Now, less than two years since our first-ever ultra-rapid charger went live, we’re here – more big green hubs than ever, a new app, price drops, new roaming partnerships, and plenty more to come! Are we done yet? Not even close. But being named the fourth-best ‘large rapid & ultra-rapid network’ reminds us that connecting with our drivers, prioritising our electric community and creating great charging experiences is what really matters most. Hot on the heels of yesterday’s announcement, we’re keeping the momentum going by powering up our latest 2-bay ultra-rapid location. Just a five-minute drive from Crewe Town Centre and close to the M6, the Duke of Gloucester (CW1 5NP) is all about giving EV drivers the charging solutions they need, right where they want them. Another day, another great Northern partnership 💚 Plugging back into our roots, we’ve continued our EV charging rollout alongside JW Lees Brewery – the family-owned pub chain. Together,  we’re rolling out 22 ultra-rapid bays, across seven locations (with two still to power up) in a deal worth up to £1.8M – all set to serve the 12,500 local EV drivers and countless visitors across all these pubs. EV drivers don’t just want charging – they want it at places they’ll actually spend time. And more venues are catching on. Through this regional partnership, we’re building a model for hospitality brands to meet the growing demand for EV-friendly venues. By upgrading existing charging, and installing new ultra-rapid solutions, we are creating long-term, diversified revenue streams for J.W. Right chargers, right places (with a little help from our friends) 🤝   The idea is simple: “right chargers in the right places.” But truthfully, achieving this is a different story without our amazing partners by our side.     From day one, we could have settled for a ‘good enough’ experience.
