We made our first promo video! We've been in the 3PL business for over 20 years, and have always grown organically via recommendation. We've recently coded options into our inhouse WMS, whereby our clients can create custom orders and select exactly which batch or expiry date goes with the order. This is great if you are sending orders to trade resellers needing a minimum BBE on products. So if for example you are creating an order for Amazon FBA for example, you can select exactly which batch goes to them and which are kept in stock for D2C or other B2B orders. Eco-friendly packaging. At Beckdale, our standard packaging is environmentally kind. We use boxes made up of up to 90% recycled material (where possible) and are fully recyclable, geami wrap (paper bubble wrap, also fully recyclable), and even save and re-use master cartons when possible for B2B orders too, saving them having to go to landfill and going through the long process of being re-processed. We believe as a 3PL packaging service, we should be leading the way and encouraging our customers to use eco-friendly packaging. Now we're well and truly past Easter and won't ruin any surprises (and also finally admitted to ourselves, chocolate doesn't have to be a staple part of our daily diet, booooo), we'd love to share a recent project we worked on for a customer. They wanted a branded Easter gift for their customers that was unique and luxurious, yet quirky, which reflects their brand image. Enter Beckdale. We masterminded these 100% Belgian Chocolate, Giant (36cm tall and 2.5kg heavy!!) Easter Eggs, filled to the brim with Easter character marshmallows and implementing the customer's logo as our egg 'yolk', complete with branded hammer heavy enough to crack that much chocolate (it was thick!). We of course, also included a selection of vegan chocolates to cater for all dietaries too 😊 We were blown over by the feedback our customer sent back to us, with many of their customers' teams enjoying both the eating and smashing elements of their gift (we're not sure which part they enjoyed most from the videos!). Did you know?! Our custom stock portal (WMS) allows you direct communication with our warehouse packing team. Beckdale 3PL now enables full stock traceability and rotation, from point of receipt to point of dispatch, for every item moving through the warehouse using batch or expiry date attributes amongst many others. Track and trace contributes significantly to improving overall processes and the quality of service we can offer to our customers.
