This winter, as we celebrate our 40th anniversary, we invite you to experience "Reflecting on Winter," an immersive art installation housed within our glasshouse in the heart of our gardens. Buchanan Studio have brought their signature theatrical style to Le Manoir, transforming the glasshouse into a whimsical world of surreal seasonal reflections. Playing on the very concept of a ‘glasshouse,’ the mirrored exterior reflects the sky by day and the interior by night, creating an ever-changing visual experience. With their signature eclecticism, the space features giant hanging crepe paperwhite Narcissus, a distinctive green, white, and silver palette, and pieces from Buchanan Studio's recently launched Daydream collection. French photographer Thomas Rousset captures the original garden-to-table experience at our Oxfordshire retreat, Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons, A Belmond Hotel. Bringing the beauty of the gardens outside into every moment indoors, Thomas captures the surreal side of life in our kitchens and gardens with an avant-garde signature. "I was captivated by the magnificent Japanese garden in the middle of Oxfordshire. The pond water covered with a thin film of perfectly uniformed bright green moss added to the juxtaposition. This inspired me to create the image with the hotel staff member inside the pond performing his work duties.
