About us
Belmont Healthcare offers multiple forms of long, short, respite care and in addition we also provide home care for those in need of support in their own homes. Specialising in enhanced care and support for older people, care is also offered for those living with Dementia and other life changing conditions such as Parkinson’s disease. Our homes are perfectly situated in delightful settings around the UK, each one is unique and provides a very homely atmosphere whilst being safe and secure making the people we care for feel right at home. Belmont Healthcare Group consists of Care Homes in Dartford, Gravesend and New Romney within the Kent area, Crowhurst within East Sussex, as well as a Home Care service based in Solihull, Bromsgrove, Redditch & surrounding areas. Belmont Healthcare Group can support those with Dementia through many avenues, so whether it be for a period of respite, or a longer term stay we can help. Within these settings care is provided for people over 55 years with mental health support including Dementia. Care can also be offered to those under the age of 55 years with a diagnosis of dementia or other mental health requirements. We have Registered Nursing staff available to offer clinical management and supervision to all four sites. All of our Care Teams undergo all mandatory training courses as required by CQC and also have training and experience in dementia awareness.

Funny, entertaining, honest and truly inspiring – just a few of the words used to describe last night's incredible event with the wonderful Maxine Laceby. Maxine is taking part in our Kili4Kids challenge in January, climbing Mount Kilimanjaro with me and a large team of other wonderful supporters, to raise money for our Children's Hospital and sick kids. To help with her fundraising efforts, Maxine opened the doors to Absolute Collagen’s very yellow HQ and allowed me to lead a Q&A session. We explored Maxine’s iconic success journey, from creating collagen at home in her kitchen to becoming the founder of a £30m business in just six years, as well as the importance of the colour yellow and why Kilimanjaro is a bucket list challenge for her. Maxine blew everyone away, empowering everyone in the room on the importance of self-belief, perseverance, resilience and always putting your family first. A huge thank you to everyone who attended and helped raise money for our hospital. The Kili4Kids trek is in support of our latest £3m appeal, It Starts Here, to transform the front entrance of our Children’s Hospital, making it more child-friendly and less scary for our patients. 💛 🎈 💛

On Tuesday night our wonderful Patron Ben Francis MBE opened the doors to Gymshark HQ to host an event for our Changemaker community titled The Gymshark Story: Unicorn and Beyond. Not only is Ben our Patron, but he and his family are also an active partner in our Changemaker community, a group of like-minded and passionate business leaders from across the Midlands who are united in their vision to transform the lives of the patients at our Children’s Hospital. Hosted by Mark Howden from LDC and Nick Jones from Rathbones Group Plc, during the Q&A Ben spoke candidly about his evolving journey as founder and CEO of Gymshark as well as his passion and drive to support our hospitals and charity. The event was inspiring, motivational and most-definitely memorable as the group were also given an exclusive behind the scenes tour of the Gymshark facilities. It was truly fantastic to see so many well-known business leaders and entrepreneurs from our Changemaker community together in one room.
