The nursing team at Belong Wigan have received a special thank you letter from one of their student #nurses who has recently completed her practical placement at the village. 💉 Odette Kanfuseni is training on a nursing programme with The University of Manchester and shared these kind words: "I genuinely loved my placement at Belong. You made me feel accepted and encouraged me right away, which gave me the confidence I needed to grow both personally and professionally. I am honoured to have been a member of such a fantastic team, and your daily dedication and caring to the residents is incredibly motivating." Belong Crewe welcomed Connor Naismith MP this morning for a village visit and the chance to chat about some ideas to support the community. 🏡🌹 The Crewe and Nantwich MP enjoyed a tour with Caroline Anthony, General Manager, stopping to meet with customers and colleagues along the way. He said: "Really enjoyed visiting Belong Crewe this morning. Amazing to see all the facilities they have available, from gym to bistro, pub to salon. “I didn’t want to go into a ‘home’, I like being independent. Living here, I get time on my own, like I used to. Volunteers play a big role at Belong, with many coming from our villages' independent apartment tenant communities. 🫂 There is always something to be involved with and we find many take the opportunity to share their passions with others, such as teaching yoga, woodwork skills or running coffee mornings.
