🥂 After three months of hard work and dedication, we are thrilled to officially open our stunning new champagne bar at Cumnor Hill House! 🍾 To mark this special occasion, our CEO, Laura Perry, and Cumnor’s General Manager, Sherrie Hume, were joined by the Chair of Vale of White Horse District Council, Cllr Kiera Bentley who had the honor of popping the first bottle of champagne! 🎉 This beautiful space has been designed to be the centrepiece of the home so residents can create memorable moments with their friends and families. A big thank you to everyone who made this vision a reality!

🌟 Yesterday, we had an incredible opportunity to engage with students at the Who Cares Wins National Care Conference and Exhibition to explore some of the opportunities at Berkley Care Group! 📲 We kicked things off with a virtual tour of Burcot Grange and Lodge, where the students scanned a QR code and were tasked with searching for room 29. It was a great way to introduce them to the space and get them thinking about the various responsibilities in a care environment. 💼 From National Vocational Qualifications and apprenticeships to nursing degrees and kitchen careers, we shared several pathways that can lead to fulfilling careers in care. Burcot Grange and Lodge's General Manager Victoria Osborne and Customer Relations Manager Kiran Chaggar-Smith shared their personal stories and insights, showing how you can begin your career in one role and progress through different departments. 🎓 We're also excited about potential partnerships with local colleges. It's fantastic to meet so many motivated young people who are eager to pursue their future in the care industry!

🎁 Shinfield View's Go for Gifts 🎁 🎄 This Christmas, our incredible team at Shinfield View are taking on a HUGE challenge to raise funds to buy Christmas presents for children spending the holidays at Southampton Children's Hospital. 🚴 They're cycling a whopping 4,212 miles — the equivalent of pedalling from Shinfield View all the way to Lapland, Finland and back! So far, they've covered 716.7 miles and raised £755! 🎅 Every pedal counts, help us make a difference!
