There are many teams across our business who work in healthcare, providing vital support to hospitals and care facilities. Last week, during Storm Eowyn, these teams showed incredible dedication to ensuring hospitals like Beaumont, St. Joseph's (Raheny), RCNU, and Clontarf continued to operate smoothly. Colleagues worked hard to ensure there was sufficient cover during the storm and found safe ways to get to work, including sharing lifts, staying with friends, or being picked up by management. Their efforts ensured that all hospital areas remained clean and safe, supporting both patients and healthcare staff during this challenging time. Well done to all involved!

Today, Bidvest Noonan hosted a breakfast intelligence briefing at the impressive 8 Bishopsgate in London. The event brought together industry leaders to discuss all things Risk Management. Dr David Rubens, a global expert in strategic risk and crisis management, delivered the keynote address. Ian Martin our Director of Risk and Intelligence, joined Rachel Webb, Chief Security Risk Officer from The Keyholding Company, and Director of Security & Resilience, Michael Pearce GCGI MBCI, from Landsec on a panel including Dr. Rubens to share valuable insights on this important topic. Our business achieved impressive success at last week’s Loo of the Year National Awards, including taking the top spot in the Education category. The event in Hampton-in-Arden also saw us recognised in the Market Sector category and named within the prestigious Champions League Standard of Excellence. Bidvest Noonan recently teamed up with An Garda Síochána to host a Safety Day at Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore, bringing valuable safety insights to the entire hospital community. Those who engaged gained knowledge to enhance personal security, protect belongings, and create safer environments both at work and at home. It also reinforced the HSE’s zero-tolerance policy on aggression towards staff.   Staff and visitors participated in an interactive questionnaire, sparking conversations about security concerns and ideas for improvement. This engaging approach ensured the day was not only informative but also impactful for everyone involved.   A big thank you to An Garda Síochána and the hospital team for helping us create an event that left a lasting impression and strengthened safety for all.

At Bidvest Noonan, we’re proud to support XO Bikes and their incredible work. The bikes we’ve donated have helped train 50 prison leavers and ex-offenders this year, with an additional 22 trained in their Pentonville workshop. Many have gone on to secure employment through XO Bikes and their partners. XO Bikes ensures every bike makes a difference, donating to charities like The Bike Project and CFO hubs, where they provide vital support to communities. Even bikes beyond repair are repurposed for parts, ensuring nothing goes to waste. A big thank you to our colleagues and everyone involved for making this impact possible
