Big Bear were delighted to host a visit from South Bromsgrove High Teaching School before the end of term. The students were given a tour of the factory, along with some inspiring careers talks from some of our employees who have all ended up doing something completely different to what they thought they would when they were at school! We heard from Sif, Project Engineer who used to be a maths teacher, Ellie, Head of Planning, who studied Psychology, and Sean, Works Engineer, who has done a bit of everything 😊 Some of the students are preparing to take GCSEs in Design Engineering and DT, so we look forward to welcoming them back in the future for work experience, apprenticeships, and jobs! #nextgeneration #localschools #localcommunity #businessinthecommunity #shoutaboutukmfg
