In this episode, we explore the world of impactful philanthropy, a topic very close to my heart. Alex shares incredible insights on Big Give’s innovative match funding model, the power of digital strategies and their ambitious fundraising goals for the future. If you haven’t heard of Big Give already, here are three reasons why you might want to help spread the word about this year’s Christmas Challenge Campaign: 1. Over 1,250 charities are participating in the 2024 Christmas Challenge appeal, with a record-breaking £20 million in match funds already secured and ready to be doubled. 2. Last year's Christmas Challenge raised an impressive £33 million for 1,077 charities through over 94,000 public donations, with 74% of the participating charities meeting or exceeding their fundraising goals. This year the goal is to surpass last year’s total. 3. Since its inception in 2007, Big Give has raised over £300 million for thousands of charities, with nearly half of the funds supporting small charities with annual incomes of less than a million. Big Give’s big objective is to raise £1 billion for good causes by 2030.
