  • 🥔 Today we are Tato Talkin to Johanna Darmon! What do you do at Big Potato? I work in the international sales team as an account manager. I look after some of our great distributors and retailers from different parts of the world. What's your favourite Big Potato game & why? There are too many! But the one I play the most with my friends and family is Herd Mentality, especially over Xmas. It’s really addictive and kids can also take part so it is really fun for everyone. We always have such a laugh even though I get the pink cow most of the time! What's your favourite non-Big Potato game & why? I know it is cheesy but it has to be Game of Life. It  is one of my best childhood memories with my sister with that big wheel in the middle, so satisfying to spin! But it is so different and actually funnier when you play as an adult as it makes you think about your life choices and what life would have turned out if you became a model with 3 pairs of twins, 2 dogs and 2 mortgages! What’s your party trick? I can do (very bad) impressions of female singers like Britney Spears or Shakira but don’t ask me to do it unless I had a few drinks! What’s your best memory at Big Potato? I haven’t been here for long but I would say Trade shows in general, I think Spiel Essen last year was amazing as it was my first consumer show. I got to meet our customers (who are the nicest by the way) as well as seeing the excitement and happiness of the general public while playing our games. People were from all backgrounds, nationalities, disabilities, ages etc.so I found this very rewarding and heart warming How do you like your potatoes? As a French person I love my gratin dauphinois (and I make a mean one!) but my favourite will have to be garlic and rosemary roasties!

  • 🍳 This month, we decided to switch up our usual monthly social and do something a little bit different. Of course, it was still all about spending quality time together and having fun - because we REALLY love fun! But with the new year usually being a time to strip back and reset, we thought: why not try a morning social instead? 🥯 Cue the breakfast spread: fresh juice, coffee, pastries, muffins, bagels, and baps. A line-up guaranteed to start the day on a positive note. 🧖♀️ The result? A relaxed, happy team eased into a busy day ahead. Proof that a simple idea can make all the difference.
