Had a lovely morning hosting our first group for 2025 from the The King's Trust and the Newcastle United Foundations ‘Team’ programme with Kenny Lyon and Dylan Redhead. It was a pleasure to share the variety of roles available in the hospitality industry and to tell these young people a little about our career journeys and how we ended up at Blackfriars Restaurant and Dobson and Parnell It’s always inspiring to see their enthusiasm and curiosity—hopefully, we’ve sparked some interest in a future career in hospitality! #HospitalityCareers #InspiringFutureGenerations #SupportingYoungPeople #FutureTalent

Had a fabulous day today at the wonderful Lifetime Chef’s Academy, alongside our very own talented chef’s Clare Cruddace, Chris Gilliney and Jerome Smith .. as well as our brilliantly motivated Greene King apprentices 💚 learning how to make the most gorgeous cakes and pastries 🧁 🍰 😍 The day was made even more extra special due to the wonderful venue and stunning surroundings of Blackfriars Restaurant Newcastle.. it was like taking a step back into medieval times, which all added to the amazing learning experience. Thanks to Peter Grantham for the invite, it has definitely ignited a passion within me for cooking!
