The Social Partnership and Public Procurement (Wales) Act 2023 gives public bodies plenty to think about. It will introduce a statutory duty on certain public bodies to consider socially responsible public procurement when carrying out procurement, to set objectives in relation to well-being goals, and to publish a procurement strategy. As part of our Procurement series of events, we are also running a webinar on social partnership and public procurement in Wales on 5 December. Blake Morgan Partner and procurement specialist, Tomos Lewis will be joined Sue Hurrell from the Welsh Government to explore exactly what that means for public bodies and how to comply with the requirements.
