Looking for some exposure for your business while supporting a nice event? For our next event, "Blue Metaphor presents Stories of the hearts untamed", we are looking for sponsors and partners! We offer different packages, starting at only £25. The idea of these events is to offer a platform for filmmakers to showcase their work, to discuss it and to connect with other filmmakers and creatives. I believe that the art world and the film industry can be quite elitist and I would like to offer the space to everyone, in an inclusive way, to be able to network and discover new art disciplines. We want to get back to the roots of why we decide to become an artist or a filmmaker: the love of our discipline, not the red carpet or spotlight, but the passion we have to create and share. Our first event, “Blue Metaphor presents Stories Beneath the skin” was sold-out, and many projects started thanks to the networking that took place. We premiered the proof of concept “Ephemeral”, a project about body dysmorphia and binge eating, which has now moved on to become a feature. We exhibited the work of photographer Gabriele Zukauskaite, we were transcended by the performance of dancer Maria Martinez and artist Sachin Babbar, and we were deeply touched by the poet and singer Average Tweed. Our second edition, “Blue Metaphor presents Stories of the Hearts Untamed”, will take place on the 1st of March, at PRSC Bristol. We will screen short films, followed by Q&A with the filmmakers, and we will watch the performance of musician Martin and dancer Anastasia. We will listen to touching spoken words by Langa Ncube and enjoy the incredible 3D art of Javeria Salar Khan.

We are so excited to host our second edition of "Blue Metaphor presents" on the 1st of March, in Bristol! We wanted to create a space where filmmakers could connect, get inspired, talk about their work and process, learn and showcase their work. We believe art and film go hand in hand, and that sometimes, discovering new art forms can feel overwhelming, and let's face it, quite expensive. For this new edition, we will be screening three shorts films, each followed by a Q&A with the crew behind them, we will be listening to touching spoken words by poet Langa Ncube and we will get transported by the music of Martin while his partner perform contemporary dance. Artist Javeria Salar Khan will exhibit her cosmic artwork. For filmmakers and artists, we are also offering an hour of networking, a valuable opportunity to deepdive into other projects around the city, whilst enjoying our art exhibition. As we already told you, Ephemeral will become the feature it was intended to be. But... We need you. . As you know, on the 16th of November, we will premiere Ephemeral the short, for everyone to watch, and discuss what went well and what went wrong, what we could improve. We need your opinion! .
