Blue Metaphor Ltd was founded by Sheherazade Bodin, whose aim was to help filmmakers, writers and any creative voices to develop their projects portraying social, cultural or environmental issues or highlights. We want to help the world become a better place, one film at a time, and support all filmmakers, emergent or not, in an inclusive way. At Blue Metaphor, we love noisy voices, speaking the truth loud and clear. We want to get new perspectives on what a film should be, should look like and should say. We promote diversity and inclusivity, as we believe no one should be silenced. We thrive when unheard or misunderstood voices finally get the spotlight! From pre-production to post production, we help you get that idea off the ground. Either you have a script and are in need of a director, a producer, fundings, or a director looking for someone to plan their production, we will happily give a hand. We advise, we help, we promote. Our editing team also takes on small or big editing projects, always in link with our motto.

Filmmakers need art for inspiration, amongst other things.
Why create "Stories beneath the skin" ? It is awe-inspiring to discover new artists, new art forms, but also extremely important to be able to create new work. As filmmakers, I believe we need inspiration through art, in all its form. Coming from a place where I had no contact whatsover with the film industry, nor the art world, I had to build my network from scratch. That is hard and requires so much self-work and perseverance. I want to help unseen talents, misunderstood voices, eager youth, reconverted adults, people from low income households, to get their chance, to get seen, and to be in contact with other creatives that they, perhaps, would have never had the occasion to meet. The art and film industries should be accessible to all, no matter their gender, social-economic backgrounds, age, sexuality nor race.
