An interesting deep dive into Mark’s business, learning his skills of content creation, technical website support as well as branding and website hosting. ✨That’s a wrap for 2024 at BNI Wilmslow! ✨ We had great fun at our last meeting of the year on Tuesday, with festive attire, a Christmas Quiz lead by the fab Quizmaster Simon Bollington and Secret Santa - all fuelled by chocolates and brews! 🎁🍫☕️ Richard Tadman gave us a wonderful performance with an original Christmas song, all about BNI Wilmslow, we had festive poem pitches and shared our heartfelt thanks to our team members for the fantastic support we give each other this year. 🎶🎉 Now time for a well deserved break - Merry Christmas everyone from Wilmslow! 🎄🎅🏼✨

This week we had the pleasure of hearing from Joe long for his 10 minute feature presentation. ⭐️ Joe is a representative of the Gene’s Wish Charity and does brilliant work week in, week out, raising funds for the important cause. 🧞♂️✨ However this week, we have Joe the floor to talk about his own business with Veteran Knots. 🥃 Veteran Knots was founded in 2022 by serving and former members of the Marines and Armed Forces. Joe himself is a retired Marine and current serving Reserve and set the business up wanting to embark on entrepreneurship whilst still having ties to his Marine roots. Joe created Knots Rum - a range of deliciously flavoured rums aimed at appealing to the masses. From Butterscotch to Raspberry & Pomegranate, there’s something for everyone. During his feature presentation, Joe’s passion for the Armed Services and his Rum products was very clear to see and this is embodied in his premium product - The Knots XO Venezuelan Rum. With many of their tours in the Caribbean, they created this product with an intrinsic link to their operations and the history of the Armed Forces. This Tuesdays meeting was all about our resident Architect & Garden Designer - Dan Lancaster 🌿🍂 Dan Lancaster has such a passion for working on both the exterior of properties as well as their structure. His focus is blending the two spaces inside and out and he talked us through his work this week during his feature presentation. What always shines through with Dan is his passion for the work he creates and his ability to thrive working on the more unusual and out of the ordinary jobs.
