Have you read the government's Get Britain Working White Paper yet? 🤔 We have, and our CEO & Co-Founder Chris has some insights. 👇
Co-founder @ Bodyswaps ¦ Helping Higher Ed and Healthcare organisations teach human skills ¦ Simulation x XR x AI
🚀 Soft Skills Take Center Stage in the Government’s Workforce Agenda The recently published Get Britain Working White Paper highlights a key priority: soft skills like communication, teamwork, and leadership are no longer just "nice-to-haves"—they’re mission-critical. Here’s why this matters and how it’s shaping the future: ✅ Soft skills are the backbone of success. As automation reshapes industries, human-centered abilities drive adaptability and productivity. They help individuals thrive and organisations build stronger, more resilient teams. 🎯 Government initiatives are prioritizing these skills. The White Paper emphasises addressing skills gaps through programs like the Youth Guarantee trailblazer areas. Enhanced funding for Further Education providers aims to close employability gaps. 🏥 The NHS is making soft skills a top priority. Healthcare workers need better communication, leadership, and empathy to improve patient outcomes. Funding for simulation technologies will transform how we train for the human side of healthcare. 🌍 How VR and AI can lead the way. Virtual Reality offers immersive, safe environments for practicing soft skills. AI provides personalised feedback to accelerate improvement. This scalable approach makes training more impactful and cost-efficient in the long term. 🚀 Bodyswaps is leading the charge. Our innovative VR and AI-powered solutions are already making a difference in education and healthcare. As the government doubles down on building a skilled workforce, tools like Bodyswaps are ready to help make that vision a reality. 💡 Our team is here to help. We can guide your organisation in making sense of these opportunities and applying for funding. Contact us today at hello@bodyswaps.co to start the conversation. 👉 Now’s the time to rethink training. Let’s build the future of work together. #SoftSkills #GetBritainWorking #VirtualReality #AI #Innovation #WorkforceDevelopment #NHS #HealthcareTraining #FurtherEducation #EducationInnovation #FutureOfWork #DigitalLearning #Bodyswaps https://lnkd.in/eyXtT3rY

Rosie and Ben are in beautiful Banff today and tomorrow for Simulation Canada's 2024 SIM expo. Rosie has already mistaken a coyote for a fox, so please be sure to stop by and say hello and perhaps give these two some tips on local wildlife. 👋🦊 #HealthcareSimulation #SIMExpo2024

Earlier this week, Tylar Nicklis spoke at the Women in XR event held at University of North Carolina at Charlotte. ✨ We're so pleased Tylar was invited to speak at this event - thank you for having us! As part of this event, they had a fantastic walkout song - created by organiser Steven Freund with the help of some AI - and we wanted to share it with you all today. Listen out at around 00:58 for a special mention. 😂

Calling upon the VR experts in our community! We're donating VR headsets to RILEYS ARMY INC and we need your help. 👇
I need your advice 🙏 Today, we’re donating VR headsets to RILEYS ARMY INC, a charity that supports children facing cancer. These headsets will go to a hospital, where they’ll give kids access to experiences that can help them escape—even if just for a little while—and bring some joy into their day. But here’s the thing: I’m not sure which apps or experiences would be best for this. While Bodyswaps is what we know best, it’s not built for this kind of use, and I want to make sure these headsets are loaded with experiences that truly make a difference for these kids. If you have any recommendations—games, mindfulness apps, creative tools, anything—I’d be grateful. Thanks in advance for your help. It means a lot.

It's been a week since Meta's Educators Community Summit in London - how time flies! We had such a fantastic time meeting friends old and new, and discussing the future of XR and AI for education. ✨ And we can't fail to mention our social event that rounded off the day, with delicious food and drink, and the talented Das Brass brass band. 🎺 A big congratulations and a big thank you to Matthew Sanders, Nicole Staubli, Sharon Kritzer, Erika J., Darren Touch (陶瀚生), and Christopher Borunda from Meta for organising this event. We look forward to what 2025 will bring! 🎉 #MetaEducatorsCommunitySummit #AIinEducation #VRinEducation

On Wednesday, Tylar was lucky enough to attend XR in Education and even had the chance to speak about us. 🤩 Take a look at her highlights below!
Last night I had the opportunity to speak about Bodyswaps at 'XR in Education' presented by NCXR and RTP EdTech Meetup. It was great to engage in thoughtful conversations around: 🙏How #AI and #VR compliment each other 🎯Importance of #Accessibility in VR Applications 💡The future outlook of VR/XR, specifically the impact on learning & classrooms It was great connecting with some old friends, and making new ones as well. I'm truly looking forward to what's to come with XR in North Carolina and beyond! Thanks Brian Moynihan for putting together an awesome event!
