About us
A Bowl With A Roll. Bowla is a brand new bread innovation product, a bowler hat-shaped loaf of bread. Separate the top of the loaf from the bottom and you are left with a bread BOWL and a bread ROLL (see images). Fill this bowl with any filling of choice. A Bowla soups / stews / curries are just a few of the savoury examples. The Bowla mould (patent granted) can take any type of leavened dough. Some examples being white, brown, olive, tiger, garlic bread, and even sweet doughnut and Yorkshire puddings! Currently based in South Wales, we are on a mission to bring our bread innovation / bakery invention to market. We are in the midst of opening a micro-bakery / street food stall at Swansea Indoor Market, stall 62 as a marketing exercise, gathering data & gauging feedback. Commencing in March, Bowlas will be baked fresh on site each morning and served with a series of fillings. With aim in gathering feedback, there will be regular filling rotations and specials, accompanied with appropriately flavoured Bowlas. Stall 62 will act as Bowla HQ for bakery purposes, we also aim to partake in regular outreach and pop-up shops in and around Swansea and perhaps elsewhere. We'd love to see our bread product sold UK wide in bakeries, festivals, sporting events in the future. ‼️👏 What a week it’s been! 🎩🍞 Last Monday, I had the pleasure of attending the Great British Entrepreneur Awards & Community - my second year of being a finalist 🙏💥 I love these awards for 2 reasons: 1. It’s great to get all dressed up and celebrate all the achievements every now and then (something we small business owners don’t do enough!)🤣 2. The room has such a BUZZ! So many different people with different businesses in one room all pulled together to celebrate the successes 🤩 I always leave these events FULL of ideas and Motivation 🎩👏 By some miracle I was placed next to Natalie Wright of The Swansea Edit! Great to catch up with Nat although it is rather funny that we needed to travel all the way to london to have a chat 🥲😱 The grind is real! As well, I was FINALLY reuinited with Louis Watkins from Clear For Men after meeting him at ideas fest this year!! Brilliant to catch up with him and learn more about his amazing business 🙏 All that AFTER catering an event for 300 people in the day (see previous post) 😱🤣 you’re only young once as people keep telling me 🥲🥰 This week we have another huge event - the winter fair (Royal Welsh) 📍 our first event of its kind! This is our LAST biggie of the year 💯 Looking forward to what the future holds for planet bowla 🎩🍞‼️

🍞‼️ 300 BOWLAS ‼️🎩 Have you ever seen so many bowler hat breads before?! Because we certainly haven’t 😱🤩 Monday, we had the PLEASURE of catering the 4theRegion’s well-being economy conference, held at Swansea Arena 💥 We were approached a few months back with the offer of catering this massive function - with it being our BIGGEST catering gig yet, I decided it was best to share the load and provide a great opportunity for a fellow small (VERY NEW) business - Flavour Food Swansea 🥹 We brought the bread and butter x Flavour foods bought the fillings! 🤤 Thank you to Jordan and Kelsey for enabling us to cater our biggest event yet 🙏 And a huge thank you to Jamie for all of your hard work & for enabling me to take on BIGGER opportunities than ever before 🍞🍞🍞 AND an even BIGGER thank you to CHRIS for baking all 300 Bowlas!!!
