Did you know that a group of pandas is called an embarrassment? This is probably due to their loveable and clumsy habits. This is a great collective noun… definitely one of my favourites! 🐼🐼🐼

This was a corker of a find… I recently stumbled across a mistake on a poster that said: ‘Aresols should not be placed in the bin.’ I disagree… all aresols should be put in the bin! I jest! It took me a while to figure out that it was trying to say: ‘Aerosols should not be put in the bin.’ (THAT I agree with!). 🗑️

Patience vs Patients Patience is a noun meaning the ability to be patient. Patients is a plural noun meaning individuals receiving medical attention. Examples: I was impressed with the patience that the children showed while waiting for the replacement bus. The nurses made sure all the patients were comfortable. Hope this was helpful! ☺️

Here’s some guidance on how to correctly use times in your writing (inspired by some incorrect usage of times I spotted recently!). 💡 Be consistent Choose the 12-hour or 24-hour format and stick to it. Examples: 12-hour: The cafe is open between 9am and 4pm The opening hours are 9:00am to 3:00pm 24-hour: My working hours are 08:30 to 16:30 (no need for am and pm here). 💡Avoid repetition ❌ 9:00am in the morning ✅ 9:00am ❌ 16:00pm ✅ 16:00 Hope that helped! ⏰

The shorter days and miserable weather can be tough; however, the shortest day of the year will soon be upon us! 🍁🍂🍁
