About us

Brand by Me is a brand meets strategy consultancy. We help ambitious organisations build BRILLIANT brands that win business and achieve social change and impact. We love working with small and medium sized businesses and organisations with BIG ideas. We'll help you define, articulate and deliver your brand, working with teams, gathering audience insights, running workshops and creating practical action plans and tools all to embed your brand into long term strategy. To build a brand effectively, it has to be embedded into the strategy and operation of the business, delivered through compelling products and services and lived by the people who work there. This is not easy which is why Brand by Me’s all-inclusive brand strategy approach is built to help organisations do this. - We facilitate workshops to ensure that key stakeholders and staff are brought together to develop and articulate the brand – this is not something that is done to our clients but a way of working that creates buy-in, engagement and commitment at every level of the organisation. - We mentor brand leaders, business founders and day to day managers throughout the process on how to make the case for the brand, how to positively address brand and organisational challenges, and how to hold the organisation, team or partners accountable for its delivery. - We create simple and practical tools to embed the brand strategy into day to day operation – from user journeys, to culture audits, to project plan templates and much more – which we work on with our clients initially then upskill them to take these techniques forward into everyday activity. - We provide ongoing project management and creative support if needed, so that our clients can benefit from our expertise as they bring their brand to life. We'd love to work with you. So do get in touch! hello@brandbyme.co.uk facebook.com/brandbyme Twitter: @brandbycollette

  • Building Anti-Ableist Brands Starts Here At Brand By Me, we know that true equity isn’t just a nice-to-have—it’s essential. That’s why we’ve been working alongside Sulaiman R. Khan, our Disability Justice Lead, to help brands not just talk about anti-ableism but live it. Anti-ableism is about centring on disabled people’s experiences and creating a culture where everyone has access to the same opportunities—no exceptions. It’s about transforming your brand to be a space of belonging, respect, and justice for all. Here’s how you can start building a brand that stands up for anti-ableism: 1. Audit your accessibility: Review your products, services, and digital spaces. Are they truly inclusive? 2. Embed justice into your culture: Create safe spaces for people to discuss accessibility and ableism. 3. Start small: Maybe it’s adding captions to online meetings—small actions can spark big change. 4. Adding ALT text to social posts Ready to take action? Read our full blog post for more insights and tips (linked in the comments). Let’s do this together! #AntiAbleism #InclusiveBranding #DisabilityJustice

    • A joyful Sulaiman, a disabled British-Pakistani man with short, light-coloured hair, sits in a power wheelchair, engaging in a lively conversation. Sulaiman is wearing patterned clothing, adding personality and vibrance to the scene. Next to them, a smiling Leah, a black woman with long hair and hoop earrings, listens attentively, dressed in a black outfit. The black-and-white image is set in a cosy, informal environment, capturing a sense of connection and warmth. Superimposed over the photo is a digital notification box with bold text reading, "Reminder: Small actions can spark big change." Below the text are buttons labelled "Accept" in green and "Decline" in red, reinforcing the motivational tone of the image. End.
  • Disability Justice Every Day at Brand By Me At Brand By Me, Disability Justice is more than a priority—it’s a daily practice. Guided by Sulaiman R. Khan (سلیمان راشد خان), our Disability Justice Lead, we work to embed anti-ableism into every brand we touch, moving beyond compliance to systemic change. Today, on International Day of Persons with Disabilities—a day whose very name we acknowledge needs rethinking—we’re reflecting on how brands can drive genuine change. As Sulaiman puts it: "Accessibility isn’t a luxury; it’s a necessity. Disability justice means centring disabled voices and dismantling oppressive systems—not because it benefits everyone, but because it’s essential for those who need it most." In our latest blog, Sulaiman shares his framework for building anti-ableist brands. Let’s use today as a reminder to recommit to this work every single day. • This week, we’re thinking about positive masculinity— and what it means to men who are committed to equity, anti-racism, anti-oppression, and allyship. Positive masculinity isn’t just about ideals; it’s about actions that contribute to social justice. Male allyship is a path of growth and responsibility. Hear from Sulaiman R. Khan (سلیمان راشد خان) - Brand by Me Disability Justice Lead, as he shares what positive masculinity means to him and how it inspires his commitment to justice. #PositiveMasculinity #MaleAllyship #InternationalMensDay
