Bravand is a digital agency. We design and build all sorts of things that people interact with on screens.

About us

Wotcha! We're Bravand - a leading, independent, female-founded and led digital agency. We design, build and help promote all sorts of things that people interact with on screens. We’ve spent the last 12 years working with organisations of all shapes and sizes, designing and building websites, apps, systems, platforms, portals, products, services - however you name and frame them, they’re all bits of tech that someone uses to achieve something, or make their life a bit easier. We specialise in five core services: 1. Business analysis: understanding a problem and articulating how a solution will actually work 2. User Experience (UX): mapping and designing every interaction across each user journey 3. Creative design (UI): creating beautiful experiences for all that amplify brand engagement 4. Development: designing and building what's going off behind the scenes to make this thing work 5. Delivery: simply put, Bravand gets the job done We also plan, create and deliver digital marketing campaigns that get more of the right people engaged with these bits of tech. We're always up for a chat so, if you've got a problem, please drop us a line - hello@bravand.com / 0044 (0) 331 630 1105

  • A bittersweet day at Team Bravand as we say "laters" to our absolute gem of a teammate; our Project Manager extraordinaire, Ashanee M.. We've had the absolute pleasure of working with Ashanee for four years (pretty much to the day!). Her amazing sense of calm and can-do has been fantastic to work with and made ALL the difference to a huge number of projects and clients. Good luck mate - we know you'll smash whatever you do next and see you soon, yeah? x https://lnkd.in/ebhfqjTP #teambravand #projectmanager #appreciation #thankyou

    • Tile shows Ashanee McCorkle's Bravand team card.
  • Wotcha Bravand followers and friends, and a happy (snowy) International Men's Day to all! We love our fellas. We know we go on about the fact that we're female founded and led (note to self: failed actresses will make everything about them - I mean look, even this post...). But Team Bravand would never get the shedload of stuff we get done without the pragmatic, steady handed, creative, "yes that's possible", "here's that thing you asked for", "No, that's not enough information to sort a fix" attitude that the wonderful men in our lives deliver day in, day out. Bunch of Bravand heroes the lot of you. Big love! x #internationalmensday #teambravand #appreciation

"Write a blog post from Bravand Directors, Jilly Cross and 🌳Ross Musgrove🌳 about the independent digital agency turning 12 years old. Include the fact that the agency has always been a champion of collective working since it opened on 28th October 2012, and continues to bring together it's unique model of full time project managers with freelancer expertise to deliver against a massive range of client problems. Include the fact that both Jilly and Ross were way too busy to write this blog themselves so popped it in Chat GPT and hoped for the best.". Follow this link to read "We're 12! The Journey of a Digital Agency Driven by Collective Working": https://lnkd.in/eSZhZ5Rt - - - - - - - - - - The image is a simple, celebratory graphic marking Bravand's 12th anniversary. The background is bright blue, featuring bold white text that reads: "On the twelfth year of Bravand, the indie agency... We wrote a blog with ChatGPT." The Bravand logo appears prominently in the middle, and the bottom of the image has a line of illustrated birthday cakes with candles, emphasising the birthday theme. The overall design is clean and modern, consistent with Bravand's branding.

  • We've signed up for the Mater Cutler's Challenge 2025. Get involved and help people to live better with dementia. "The challenge gives me a significant opportunity to raise awareness about dementia and to support projects across Sheffield and South Yorkshire that will have a lasting impact on dementia care." Phil Rodrigo Master Cutler 2024-2025. Follow this link for more info and to sign-up: https://lnkd.in/erqUecBj What is the Master Cutler’s Challenge? Each year a new Master Cutler becomes the head of The Company of Cutlers in Hallamshire, which was established in 1624. They act as an ambassador of industry for the region. The Master Cutler sets a challenge which has now become one of the largest fundraising events in the region, raising an incredible amount of money for local causes. Companies, organisations and individuals who sign up to the Master Cutler’s challenge are given £50 as a starter seed fund. They are challenged to grow this into a bigger amount of money which is in turn donated to the Master’s nominated charity. This year’s Master Cutler Phil Rodrigo has chosen Sheffield Hospitals Charity as a beneficiary of the challenge to fund projects that will have significant impact through a number of dementia care initiatives. - - - - - - - - - - The image shows a circular logo with the text "Master Cutler's Challenge 2025" written around the outer edge of the circle. In the center of the circle, there is a geometric heart shape formed by a combination of lines, with a house-like shape embedded inside it. The background of the logo is a teal color, and the text and design are white.

  • TW: pregnancy loss Baby Loss Awareness Week is held from today, the 9th October until next Tuesday, 15th October 2024. As the digital partner to The Ectopic Pregnancy Trust we hold conversations around this difficult topic all year around, but this week, we simply want to share our support for those that have experienced loss during or after pregnancy. For those that may find this time a struggle, and for those that embrace this time to remember and reflect, we see and hear you. If any of our followers want to read more about this, more information has been published by the EPT Team on their web page: https://lnkd.in/e8gqP8pP This also links to the other organisations within the BLAW working group, including Sands - baby loss charity, The Lullaby Trust , Tommy's, Bliss, and Miscarriage Association #BLAW #babylossawarenessweek #charity

    • Image shows the statistic in text:
1 in 4 pregnancies end in loss
1 in 80 pregnancies are ectopic

A row of four tulips are underneath, the symbol of the ectopic pregnancy trust.

The footer of the image shows the web page ectopic.org.uk as well as the Baby Loss Awareness logo and the 25 years of The Ectopic Pregnancy Trust symbol.

  • Ductu Portal - the leading provider of meaningful encounters and interactions between employers and students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) - has appointed Bravand to help get more Careers Hubs and schools working with Ductu. Young people with learning disabilities statistically have a just a 6% chance of entering paid employment when they leave school. Ductu’s mission is to change that by making its really simple for schools to engage with employers. Follow this link to learn more about Ductu: https://lnkd.in/e9bhEBEZ Follow this link to read the full article: https://lnkd.in/eCtBJZxr Jem Jones, Director at Ductu said: “We are so pleased to be working with Bravand, who as an employer, are already doing much to support SEND students themselves. Their work so far has been transformational. The work done by 🌳Ross, Jilly, Agnieszka and Aleksandra is allowing us to reach more and more schools, teachers, Careers Hubs and parents, which critically allows more and more young people to gain invaluable access to our growing number of amazing employers." The image shows a group of people on a construction site. They are all wearing high-visibility yellow safety vests with the logo and name “Bowmer + Kirkland” printed on the back, along with white safety helmets. The group is being led by a person who is also wearing a safety vest and helmet, suggesting that they are part of a guided tour or a site inspection. The setting is an active construction area, with various machinery visible, including a compact roller and an excavator. The ground is covered in gravel, and there are trees in the background. In the distance, there is a modern building under construction with gray, white, and dark blue panels. The overall environment and the participants' safety gear indicate adherence to safety protocols on the site. The scene suggests a professional visit or educational tour, possibly for students or young trainees learning about construction practices.

  • Happy World Animal Day to all those furry, slinky, and scaly friends of ours. Apparently, as well as being super good for us humans in terms of our mental health, pets such as cats and dogs are also REALLY good for business. Here's a story about it from Digital Doughnut back in 2021 and we can only imagine that the stats are probably even higher now - https://lnkd.in/g5uuR3Cs So here's to two of the many pets we have shared our Zoom chats with over here at Team Bravand. Give them an awwww, give them a like, give them some love, give us a project... #PetsForProjects #AgencyPets #WorldAnimalDay
