At Bravissimo, we are passionate about inspiring big boobed women to feel amazing!

About us

#WeAreBravissimo Bravissimo is a company that provides a wide choice of lingerie and swimwear in D-L cup. We are passionate about our purpose which is to be the cheerleader for big boobed women and aim to inspire our customers to celebrate their boobs and feel amazing Sarah Tremellen set up Bravissimo in 1995 following her own frustrating experiences trying to find pretty bras that fit her. Sarah had been appalled by the lack of choice in her size and was fed up of being offered enormous matronly contraptions more suitable for landing parachutes and being told she could not possibly expect to find gorgeous bras in her size. Adamant that big boobed women like herself deserved a better deal when buying lingerie, Sarah started Bravissimo as a mail order company from her living room. Today, we have 25 shops in the UK and an ecommerce operation that supports customers all over the world. We have around 700 employees across the business inclusive of our head office teams based out of Leamington Spa. We have some very exciting plans for the future and there has never been a better time to be part of Bravissimo.

  • Our CEO Leanne Cahill has featured in this week's 'The Friday Interview' for Underlines giving an insight into her life leading Bravissimo and in her role of Chancellor of University of Sunderland. Read to find out how the two intertwine and how purpose is the driving force behind it all #retailleadership #WeareBravissimo

THE FRIDAY INTERVIEW: LEANNE CAHILL OF BRAVISSIMO This Friday Underlines chats to Leanne Cahill, CEO of Bravissimo. Alongside her engrossing ‘day’ job, she is also Chancellor of the University of Sunderland and through that, she helps support others to fulfil their potential and promote social mobility and access to higher education. Two roles that intriguingly have much in common – supporting people on a very personal level and in the broader walk of life. And Leanne is passionate about both. #lingerie retail #business leader #opportunities https://lnkd.in/eQzKqRVd

Maybe not a standard request at many companies! But at Bravissimo coming home in a different bra is totally normal 🤣 Our product team actively seek input and feedback in so many ways (alongside spending lots of time fitting customers, of course), to deliver the best innovative, confidence-boosting lingerie out there. • 30 years ago, we decided women with bigger boobs shouldn't have to make to do, so we got to work making change. 30 years on, we are celebrating all the women who've told us shopping with us really has been life-changing. Because a bra that truly fits is so much more than a bra. It's the confidence to wear a strapless dress because you know you can. It's knowing you look great in a bikini for the first time in years. It's learning to love the gym because you're no longer thinking about your boobs being in pain. It's finding a pretty nursing bra that makes you feel like yourself again. So on our 30th birthday, we are celebrating the reason we do what we do...our customers. Today, we've been toasting our 30 years at Bra HQ, our warehouse and in our shops and all that we've achieved together. #WeareBravissimo #customerexperience #30yearsofBravissimo

  • Yesterday we held our first #BraHQXPDay and we are buzzing 🌟 We had ten people from across our Customer Services, Warehouse and Retail teams come and spend the day at Bra HQ. The day was designed for those who are looking to build a long-term career in a retail environment, to gain a deeper understanding of how all our teams work together to deliver our purpose. 🖥️ We heard about the different teams in IT and how they support every area of the business. We learnt some crazy stats about security and picked up on terms we weren’t familiar with like “sticky nav” and “fuzzy searches”. 🩱 We learnt about our critical path, technical design and the supply process. The teams were surprised by the time difference in freight methods and were fascinated by the number of checks done through the sealing process. 📖 We talked about our brand campaigns, magazines and approach to retail marketing. Data insights were super important, and the team could see how valuable our customer insights are to driving what we do. 💰 We heard about the different routes into Finance and learned the important fact that curiosity and problem solving are key skills, more so than just being good with numbers…though that does help! 📦 We toured the Warehouse and stopped at each of the departments to learn about Shops, Goods In, Returns and QC. The Warehouse was a surprise to many as they’d never been to one before. 📞 We spent time in Customer Services looking at the different ways we deliver our purpose through Virtual Fits, Phone, Email and Live Chat. The retail attendees loved hearing the team use all the same phrases and questions that they would use in store. 📈 We then ended the day on a #career activity – looking at focusing on the options and next steps people could take to start moving towards their goal. It was a jam-packed day, filled with energy, curiosity, great questions and surprises and we look forward to hosting another one later in the year. #WeAreBravissimo #CareerDevelopment #CareerInRetail

Today is International Day of People with Disabilities, and this year’s theme is amplifying the leadership of persons with disabilities for an inclusive and sustainable future. I’m taking this opportunity to share a podcast recording I did with PurpleSpace earlier in the year, where I talk challenges, confidence and ultimately focus on the positive strengths that people with differences can bring to leadership. https://lnkd.in/dyhvR2Jv PurpleSpace is the world’s only networking and professional development hub for disabled employees, network and resource group leaders and allies from all sectors and trades. Kate Nash, their founder, says: "We are a small social business with a big mission: "To make it easier for employees to navigate the experience of ill health, disability or the experience of an accident or injury, at the same time as flourishing at work".
