🌟 How #AI Sees Us: A Creative Peek Into Our Breakthrough Social Enterprise Team 🌟 We asked our team a fun question: "If you were a spirit animal, what would you be?" And here is what everyone said : 🐺 Sobanan Narenthiran: The Wolf – loyal, strategic, and a natural leader of the pack. 🐒 Pratik Doshi: The Monkey – curious, playful, and always finding clever solutions. 🐾 Darja Gerova: The Red Panda – playful, unique, and always leaves a lasting impression. 🐼 Indranil Sinha: A Panda (Kung Fu style!) – laid-back yet ready to kick into action when needed. 🐾: Kim Rihal The Black Panther – sleek, powerful, and embodying both mystery and confidence. 🐬 Yuval Keren: The Wise Dolphin – intuitive, intelligent, and a natural at connecting with others. It’s fascinating to see how our collective spirit animals reflect the personality of our team. Each brings their own vibe, contributing to a shared vision of creating something meaningful and impactful. What’s your spirit animal? Drop it in the comments 🐾👇 #WeAreBreakthrough #TeamCulture #Midjourney #SpiritAnimal

Diary of a Degree Apprentice 📔 Come host a graduation with me: Breakthrough 2024🎓 Dear Diary, Hosting a graduation when I haven’t even graduated myself felt surreal. But when the opportunity arose, I said yes without hesitation. Why? Because meaningful work and celebrating achievements is what drives me. So, how do you host a graduation when you aren’t a graduate? You go big or go home - making sure every moment is special for all attendees. That said, this post isn’t about me. It’s about Breakthrough Social Enterprise who focus on breaking barriers and building futures. The post is about inspiring Breakthrough Graduates who embarked on a 12-week tech skills boot camp covering topics ranging from Project Management to AI. Here’s how the day unfolded: 🧁 Guests were welcomed with a Swedish food table filled with snacks and desserts. 💭 Inspiring speeches and intros to kick the day off. 🎤 A panel talk that evolved into an interactive discussion and a Q&A session (Shoutout to Emily Whitley for joining me on the panel) 🃏The best part: fun activities like pass the sack, funny speeches, and watching the Associates’ creative videos. (Special thank you to Darja Gerova for all her creative games and ideas) 🌇We ended the day on a high note by visiting Sky Garden. Big shoutouts and thanks to: 👏The Graduates: Abdallah Tanko, J’adore W., Kaner Suleyman, Lordina (Dina) Yiadom, Paddy Collyer & many more! 👏Breakthrough team: Darja Gerova, Pratik Doshi, Sobanan Narenthiran, Indranil Sinha, Risharn Chandrann, Sarrujan Jayakumaran. 👏CGI team: Paula Biswas, Sean Hopkins, Thomas David, Emily Whitley, Wendy Grille Collins & CGI Partners. To everyone involved - thank you for making the day unforgettable (it’s been 2 months and it’s still on my mind). Excited for the next one‼️

The last few weeks I have been feeling super reflective (and homesick) as I think back on my 5-year anniversary living in the UK. I’m so grateful for the incredible experiences I’ve had, and the opportunities to work with some of the most passionate people on the planet. This year, we launched our celebration events and visits, and I continue to be amazed by the kindness, generosity, and commitment of everyone involved in making them a success. I'm sorry if this sounds like an Oscar's acceptance speech, but I’d like to take a moment to thank the following individuals and organizations who played a pivotal role this year: Neil Barclay, our amazing librarian, who always hosts us without complaint and who cheers just as loud when people receive their awards. Mark Burgess, our first-ever guest speaker, whose enthusiasm and support were invaluable from the moment I first approached him. Mary Morris from Fine Cell Work, who inspired the men to explore the art of embroidery and became our first ever outside guest speaker. David Breakspear, a local Thameside celebrity, who made a lasting impact during his visit by engaging with everyone with such genuine passion and authenticity. Pratik Doshi from Breakthrough Social Enterprise, one of the most requested organizations when I talk to people at Thameside about post-release employment and education. I hope to see this programme in prison one day. The gracious Hannah Adey who walked in on a very chaotic morning and still went to each classroom, after the event, to introduce Switchback to our learners. John Nambago, our prison employment lead, and Claire White, our assistant director, who both stepped up last minute to keep things running smoothly. Looking ahead to 2025, we already have two incredible guests lined up - both giving their time selflessly, asking for nothing more than a cup of tea and a biscuit. Again, thank you to everyone who has supported these efforts. Your generosity is making a difference in the lives of the people at Thameside. P.S. This Friday, we’re excited to welcome a guest I know the men will be eager to engage with during our Christmas Extravaganza. Stay tuned for more details!
