Yesterday, Hugh Chapman, Harry Wilding and Charlie Morris attended the careers fair at DAUBENEY ACADEMY, Bedford. It was a good opportunity, along with Bedford Borough Council and other local companies, to engage with students (Year 7-11) who were eager to learn more about apprenticeship opportunities on offer. The careers fair was a successful event that reinforced our commitment to the next generation of professionals through apprenticeships.

A sizeable portion of Breheny Civil Engineering contribution to the #StEdmundsGate project has been S278 works and is now rapidly closing in on completion. It has been a drastic transformation to what it once was and has included but not limited to such things as road widening and junction realignments, new traffic signals, utility diversions, new drainage and utility installation etc. Like all projects of this nature it has come with its challenges but have been part of an incredibly knowledgeable and talented team of people that have all worked very hard to deliver this part of the project successfully and I would like to thank all who have been a part of it and I look forward to seeing the finishing touches complete next week! #Breheny #S278 #Civilengineering #Suffolk

Breheny are working for Lincolnshire County Council to deliver upgrades to the Pinchbeck Roundabout funded by the Government’s Levelling up Fund. This project is helping to reduce congestion on the A16 between Spalding and Boston and improve access for the many fresh produce supply chains based in Spalding’s industrial areas off the B1180.

Five years ago, we had the immense honour of welcoming Her Late Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II to officially open the newly rebuilt Wolferton Pumping Station. Since then, it has continued to play a vital role in protecting West Norfolk’s land and infrastructure. Our dedicated #KingsLynn operations team works tirelessly to ensure this critical station remains as effective today, as it was on the day it was opened. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this project - Breheny Civil Engineering, Stantec (Cambridge), Bedford Pumps, PAKTRONIC ENGINEERING COMPANY LIMITED, Stainless Metalcraft Chatteris Ltd. and Environment Agency

🏢 ✅ We have been working closely with our clients Breheny Civil Engineering & Terrasite on plans to both visually and environmentally refurbish their Head Office in Creeting St Mary, and we are pleased to announce that planning permission has now been granted. The proposals include a visual overhaul with new cladding, glazing, and a single-storey staff welfare extension. These changes will also provide sustainable improvements, including increased insulation levels throughout the building, along with enhanced solar shading to the front (southern) elevation, reducing the need for mechanical ventilation during the summer months. The new steeper pitched roof will be constructed to support two large roof slopes (east and west facing) with PV panels, which will help reduce the running costs of both the office and the company’s fleet of EVs 🚗🔋 We have now commenced the detailed design stage and look forward to the refurbishment works beginning 🏗️🛠️👷♂️ 🏷️ Breheny Civil Engineering | Terrasite Ltd

Our Raymond Garlick will be taking part in the London Marathon Events this year in support of Evelina London Children’s Charity. "I’m excited (and slightly nervous!) to share that I’ll be running the London Marathon this year! It’s a huge personal challenge, and I’m training hard to get ready for the big day. I’m running in support of Evelina London Children’s Hospital, a cause that means a lot to me. If you’d like to support me and this amazing charity, I’d be incredibly grateful for any sponsorship—big or small. Every little bit helps and will keep me motivated through those long training runs! You can find my fundraising page here: https://lnkd.in/ehBsWYsb Thank you so much for your support, and if anyone has any marathon tips, I’m all ears! Kind Regards Ray" #LondonMarathon #EvelinaLondonsChildrensHospital #Charity
