Welcome to Planet BrewDog.

About us

Back in 2007, friends James Watt and Martin Dickie from the the North East of Scotland, were bored of the industrially brewed lagers and stuffy ales that dominated the UK market. They decided the best way to fix this undesirable predicament was to brew their own beers. Consequently, BrewDog was born. Two men, one dog & a mission to make other people as passionate about great craft beer as we are is how it all started. 16 years later - +3000 crew mates globally. 4 state of the art breweries - Ellon, Columbus, Berlin & Brisbane. +100 bars. 220,000 Equity Punks. The UK's fastest growing brand and the top craft beer brand in the world. The mission remains. But this is only the beginning.

You know when England are about to play a massive game at the Euros, someone makes a daft comment about how one of your beers sounds a bit like the name of the England captain… …and then before you know it, you've got the design team spending their Friday afternoon redoing some iconic can designs to include daft puns on England players' names? YEAH, THAT.

BREWDOG ON THE BEACH? BREWDOG ON THE BEACH. The doors are officially open to BrewDog Kijkduin, our fourth bar in the Netherlands (joining BrewDog Outpost Rotterdam, Rotterdam Witte de Withstraat, and Amsterdam Centraal). And yeah, in case we hadn't mentioned it yet, it looks directly out to the beach (don't worry, with a retractable roof for if/when it rains). Find us on the boulevard in the Kijkduin resort, Den Haag, with 12 beery taps, a burger and wings menu, and if my sources are to be believed, there'll even be a few exclusive food specials for the location... Proost 🍻

Apparently today is Take Your Dog to Work Day. But when you work at BrewDog, that can be, well, any day you fancy. So obviously, we're using it as an excuse to show you our four-legged team across the globe, and introduce the dogs behind BrewDog. (And before you ask, yes, those are their real job titles. Sort of. Maybe.)

5 WAYS TO CONVINCE YOUR BOSS TO LET YOU LEAVE AT 4PM TO WATCH THE EUROS AND DRINK BEER   1. Announce “it’s coming home”. Fail to mention the “it’s” is you 2. If they support England: tell them you it's your duty to both go and support your country 3. If they don’t support England: tell them it's your duty to both go and support Denmark 4. Claim the hour as lieu for all those times you stayed a couple of minutes past 5pm 5. Crack open a cold one anyway. Say we gave you permission. (NOTE: if you get told off, it’s in no way my fault)
