Brian James Trailers - Now available in the USA! Brian James Trailers are pleased to announce their entry into the American market. Following more than a year of planning, the first dealer has been appointed and the focus is on creating awareness of the brand and developing a network across the country. In August, CEO Lewis James and COO Nick Brown attended the North American Trailer Dealers Association (NATDA) annual exhibition in Nashville where the retailer package was met with an enthusiastic response. Some modifications to the products have had to be made to meet American regulations, mainly the position and specification of lighting, but they are fundamentally the same as the ones known and respected around the rest of the world and represent a unique offering in the US market. ‘America is a huge trailer market; bigger than the whole of Europe combined’, says CEO Lewis James. ‘We have done our homework, appointed our first dealer, and received our first dealer stock orders, so we are really excited about the opportunity to further increase our export sales’. Currently global exports account for around 65% of trailer sales and led to the company gaining the prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise in 2023 for the second time in the category of “International Trade”.

King’s Award for Enterprise presented to Brian James Trailers. We don't usually like to blow our own trumpet, but after being recognised by The King for export performance, we had to make an exception! Pictured is CEO Lewis James being presented with The King's Award for Enterprise by the Lord Lieutenant of Northamptonshire, the King's representative in the county. The Award comes on the back of strong export growth in Europe and as far afield as Australia and New Zealand. Lewis James, grandson of founder Brian James, took over the reins just before the pandemic and the subsequent global economic downturn, but has overseen strong export sales, the launch of new products, and expansion into new markets. ‘We are incredibly proud to receive The King’s Award and I accept it on behalf of our staff, dealers, and business partners’ said Lewis. ‘There are exciting times ahead with the launch of new products into new market sectors, as well as further international expansion.’ The company certainly isn’t resting on its laurels and only this month has launched a new trailer range, the Chassis Plant designed for the transport of bolt on generators and bowsers. . . #brianjamestrailers #kingsaward

Our Connect flatbed trailer isn't just for use in the construction industry. East Chase Farm and Distillery in Warwickshire are using theirs in a whole range of roles showing just how versatile it is. Take a look at the short video to see what they are doing. The Brian James Trailers versatile flatbed is put through its paces by a customer. Pat Bulcock, uses his Connect flatbed to transport a variety of different loads. One of his main likes is how quiet it is to tow compared with other trailers he's owned. Making Content Collaboration Work We have been working with motoring journalist and content creator Jonny Smith using our new top of the range Race Transporter 7 on his You Tube channel The Late Brake Show. Jonny came up with the idea of involving racing driver Tiff Needell and a legendary Sierra Cosworth RS500 Touring Car that Tiff had competed in to be transported to Mallory Park for a track work out. Although we had the opportunity to ask for changes to the video, time spent working together to understand the product prior to filming and how it would be incorporated into the programme meant that not a single change was requested. In our view, a really good example of relevant product placement and great, watchable content. The programme went online on Sunday 30th June and within a day had almost 150,000 views as well as a number of enquiries about the trailer. So, everyone’s happy. The programme is a great watch! https://lnkd.in/eTHEZ_ZA . #brianjamestrailers #enclosedcartransport #latebrakeshow

We love customer testimonials! Positive customer testimonials are always great to hear and this one from Andy Jane of AJ Contracting and Sons talking about his Connect flatbed trailer is a good one! One theme we are seeing is how quiet our trailers are to tow with minimal rattles even without a load. Using sealed rubber suspension units as opposed to leaf springs is a big contributor and if you tow trailers every day you will know how annoying rattles can become!
