We’re investing in the future of British Airways with a multi-million pound project to expand our engineering maintaining facilities in Cardiff Airport. Once completed, British Airways Maintenance Cardiff (BAMC) will have two fully flexible bays, allowing for more complex and detailed work to be completed. This upgrade will allow the facility to accommodate larger long-haul A350 aircraft and increase efficiency and flexibility across our maintenance operations. This expansion is part of our £7bn transformation investment and highlights our commitment to the future of our Cardiff-based operations. It is expected to be completed by 2026. We’re delighted to be a part of the Department for Transport (DfT), United Kingdom’s new Aviation Accessibility Task and Finish Group. Through this collaboration, we will keep driving transformation in our industry to provide a seamless travel experience for customers with visible and non-visible disabilities. By being part of this group and with our new customer access advisory panel, we want to ensure a positive flying experience for everyone and we hope the learnings we gain through these meetings will drive further change. #TravelForAll #AirportAccessibility
