With over 20 years’ experience in the corporate sector, valuing personal business connections and priding herself on her engaging personality. Sarah’s success in creating the first ever British Standard rewarded her company British Baby Box, winning many prestigious awards. Sarah aspires to make Baby Boxes accessible to all UK parents! 💫 Amelia Peckham, Co-Founder & CEO, Cool Crutches & Walking Sticks 💫 Amelia founded Cool Crutches  after a quad bike accident in 2005 that left her reliant on mobility aids due to a spinal injury. She saw a niche in the market after hospital-issued crutches left her with painful blisters on her hands and in need of a wheelchair. Along with her mother Clare, Amelia created a range of crutches for adults and children and walking sticks that are comfortable, colourful, customisable and easy to use.  The brand has fostered a community of over 100,000 living with long term conditions and disabilities and Amelia continues to advocate for the disabled community as well as growing Cool Crutches too. 💫 Rose Ovensehi, Founder & CEO, Flora & Curl 💫 Founded by Rose in 2017, Flora & Curl emerged from her quest for gentle, all-natural remedies for textured hair. Frustrated by the low-quality ingredients in existing products, Rose sourced nutrient-dense ingredients and crafted formulas in her mother’s kitchen. We are thrilled to announce the launch of Lorraine's Big Baby Bank Appeal, a partnership with ITV's Lorraine, Morrisons supermarkets and the Baby Bank Alliance. The partnership will raise much needed awareness of baby banks and donations of essential items for the UK's baby banks, with dedicated donation points in 497 Morrisons stores.   As a recent new grandmother, Lorraine is passionate to ensure that all babies have the best possible start in life. At the Baby Bank Alliance we support and advocate for the UK's 300+ baby banks, to ensure babies and children have the essentials they need to thrive.   Lorraine’s Baby Bank Appeal will run on air for 2 weeks, shining a spotlight on the incredible work of baby banks, sharing stories from the baby bank community and the families they support, and encouraging viewers to donate essential items at their local Morrisons store.   Morrisons will pass the donations to local baby banks . The appeal is asking for donations of new packs of nappies, wipes, bottles and teats and toiletries for both new mums and babies.   We are so grateful to the team at ITV's Lorraine and Morrisons for helping to make this happen. if you would like to support, please watch Lorraine at 9am every week day and and visit your local Morrisons store to make a donation.

The time to act is now! Yesterday our CEO Sean was part of the inspirational panel at the first North East Child Poverty Summit, which included hearing the voices of the young people themselves. We want to say thank you to Kim McGuinness and The North East Combined Authority for supporting our Baby Box.
