Business On Sea were delighted to pay a visit to Silverbirch Animal Therapy Farm at Leigh Ramblers recently 🐎 Ben was taken on a really interesting walk around tour by Alex Gulland, who showed off their amazing facilities, friendly four legged friends and we had the chance to speak with passionate owners, Nicky and Dave. Silverbirch’s primary goal is to provide a blended alternative to mainstream education, for young people who aren’t attending school or on a reduced timetable. They believe strongly in the power of animals and nature to assist in helping people escape the daily hustle and bustle and deal with a variety of mental health issues. 🌟 Their services range from Equine therapy, Riding and hacking, mobile therapy, walking in nature, art therapy and inner child therapy. The Southend Culture and Creative Network (SCCN) are delivering a creative upskilling workshop focused on "Pitching an idea" on Friday 29th November 10am-4pm at The Forum, Southend, SS1 1NS. After a short introduction, this workshop will be focused on a series of hands on activities which will sharpen your ideas and proposal. Including what language to use, presentation skills and the power of networking.
