Contact us about our January promotion on our plastic pallets. Our pallets have been a great success with ease of manual handling and improved safety and hygienic production capabilities. The pallets are specially designed for use on nonstop logistic systems for print and die cutting. This means a continuous feed, increasing the sheets converted. During a 24-hour shift, using these pallets can result in an up to 15% increase in sheets converted. They are also easy to clean, robust, and eradicate carton contamination during production, unlike traditional wooden pallets that can splinter. #DieCutting #packaging

We are delighted to announce that C&T's Continuous Improvement Idea of the Month is awarded to Mark Buckby. Mark's idea was to re-use the outer packaging in which our matrix reels are supplied for use in outbound export packaging to our customers. A great cost saving but importantly a fantastic recycling initiative! Well done Mark! Congratulations to Andy Osborn and Gislaine Hallacy for winning Idea of the Month in November as part of the C&T Matrix CI scheme. Together they completely redesigned and rebuilt the electrical boards and switchgear within some of our complex adhesive applicator units. Without this innovation, these units would have scrapped and then replaced requiring significant capex investment . C&T introduces new Sprint Balance Pro rubber. Sprint Balance Pro rubber improves the balancing of flatbed cutting dies by replacing traditional balancing method on a die board using rule. The advantages: - Manufacturers had to calculate rules; now they can replace with a single strip of Sprint Balance Pro rubber. - It can be used on the side of the die board. - There is no need to remove nick rules when running an oversized sheet - The die is kept in perfect condition without the need for alterations. - It saves time for operators and reduces tonnage and patch-up work. For die makers: Sprint Balance Pro replaces several production processes, requires less cutting rule, and reduces labour and laser times. Additionally, it eradicates the need for rubber on each side of the cutting rule and is highly cost-effective.
