Fascinating insights from our Transform colleagues as they wrap up Government Transformation Week.
40% of you thought Inefficient Processes was the most pressing challenge in the public sector right now. Interestingly, that doesn't align with what our voters thought at Government Transformation Week these past two days. Watch this space for a breakdown of those stats, our proposed solutions, takeaways and early thinking, and more. In the meantime, a big thank you to everyone who came to see us at our stand, or attended the roundtables or stage talk with Adam Mackenzie-Jones. Team Transform had a blast - here's a few snapshots of our time! #GTW #GovernmentTransformationWeek #Conference #PublicSector Government Transformation Magazine

As promised our undercover operative (aka not-so-undercover Head of New Business & Marketing) Meghan Walsh has been hard at work vlogging the best bits of Government Transformation Week. We've walked the walk and talked the talk, handed out merch, expertly weighed in on the potential of AI in the public sector, and spoken to a fair few of you - and Meghan has been there to capture it. Watch our GTW experience below. See us there? Let us know in the comments. #GTW #GovernmentTransformationWeek #Conference #PublicSector #Vlog Government Transformation Magazine

🚨 We're live at Government Transformation Week! 🚨 In the run up to the conference, our subject matter experts identified what they think are the four most pressing public sector issues right now. Of course, being who we are, we couldn't leave it at that, so we've set up a polling station with data visualisation to boot. 🗳️ Swing by our stand G56 and cast your vote to grab your swag and 'I voted' sticker. P.S. We're going behind the scenes of GTW by vlogging the next two days - watch this space for more. #GTW #GovernmentTransformationWeek #AI #Conference #PublicSector

As supporters of Coram, at Cadence Innova we understand the importance of amplifying the voices of care leavers, fostering a better understanding of their experiences, and rallying support for improvements in policies, programmes, and community services. For young people in care, turning 18 often marks a sudden shift from structured support to the expectation of independence. While their peers can rely on family for guidance and financial support, many care leavers face the daunting reality of looking after themselves at a young age. According to statistics, care leavers are more likely to face homelessness, unemployment, and mental health challenges. Many also experience feelings of isolation and struggle with forming relationships due to disrupted connections and placements during their time in care. National Care Leavers Week serves as a vital reminder of the unique challenges faced by young people transitioning out of care. But with continued collaboration and support, they can achieve the stability, confidence, and success they deserve - and we are proud to contribute to this change together with Coram. #NCLW2024 #careleavers #charity

Our team had a fantastic time at the LGA conference last week linking with colleagues from central and local government, regulatory services, such as HSE and FSA and the private sector, including Asda. There were a few key messages that resonated with us: ⚪ Hon Angela Rayner MP (Deputy Prime Minister, Houses of Parliament) talked about putting local government back at the heart of her department, name and mission, and announced some great wins. ⚪ There was a strong focus on tackling complex issues through mission-driven government and a recognition that joined-up working across local and central government is critical to delivering services that genuinely work for people. ⚪ AI was one of the key themes and it was established that when implemented thoughtfully, AI can serve as a catalyst for significant service improvements, connecting residents seamlessly to essential services. However, it is imperative that these advancements are approached with responsibility, ensuring that they enhance rather than complicate the user experience. If any of these points resonate with you, let us know - we would love to share the real life scenarios and winning strategies that work for our clients in the public sector. #publicservice #missiondrivengovernment

Whilst we must recognise the great strides that have been made in recent years, thank you Gita for highlighting what still needs to be done to get diversity of thought at all levels.
To mark Black History Month, Cadence Innova Founding Partner Gita Singham-Willis CMI ChMC shared her views with Civil Service World on breaking the glass ceiling for black civil servants. While there is an equal spread of ethnic diversity across entry and mid-level positions, black employees are still underrepresented in the most senior positions, including executive leadership roles and boardrooms in many public service organisations. The 2024 Civil Service Statistics found that, despite increased diversity in the workforce, the glass ceiling still remains firmly in place for black and ethnic minority professionals at the top levels of the civil service. Analysing this data, we can see that there are pockets of the civil service that are not as advanced in terms of diversity as others, and these areas need focus. Read more here https://lnkd.in/eWz87J-X and reach out to Gita if you are interested in exploring this topic further. #DEI #PublicSector #CivilService
