😠 Understanding and Managing Anger 😠 Anger is a natural and normal emotion, but when it feels overwhelming or out of control, it can affect your relationships, work, and well-being. The good news is that anger can be understood and managed in healthy ways. At Cairns Counselling, we’re here to help you explore the roots of your anger and find strategies to express it constructively. 💚 Pause and reflect: Take a moment to step back and identify what’s triggering your anger. 💚 Express, don’t suppress: Bottling up anger can make it worse. Finding safe, healthy outlets—like talking to someone or journaling—can help release it. 💚 Learn coping strategies: Techniques like deep breathing, mindfulness, and problem-solving can reduce the intensity of angry feelings over time. If anger is something you’re struggling with, know that you’re not alone. Our counsellors can work with you to better understand your emotions and develop practical tools to manage them. Visit https://lnkd.in/ewU3VP3z to learn more. Together, we can help you turn anger into a path toward growth and understanding. 🌱 #AngerManagement #HealthyEmotions #CairnsCounselling #Anger #MentalHealth #Aberdeen #Counselling

💔 Navigating Grief: You Are Not Alone 💔 Grief is a natural response to loss, but it can often feel overwhelming and isolating. Whether you’ve lost a loved one, a relationship, or a part of your identity, it’s important to acknowledge your feelings and take steps toward healing. At Cairns Counselling, we understand that grief is deeply personal - there’s no “right way” or timeline for navigating it. What matters is finding support and giving yourself the compassion you deserve. 💚 It’s okay to feel: Grief can bring a mix of emotions, from sadness to anger and even guilt. Allow yourself to process these feelings without judgment. 💚 You don’t have to go through it alone: Sharing your thoughts with someone you trust, or speaking to a counsellor, can make a world of difference. 💚 Take it one step at a time: Healing doesn’t mean forgetting—it means learning to carry the loss in a way that feels manageable. If you’re struggling with grief, our counsellors are here to support you. Reach out to us at https://lnkd.in/ewU3VP3z to learn more about our services. 👩💼It’s OK Not to Love Your Job! 👨💼 💼In today’s culture, we’re often told to “find your passion” or that our work should bring us endless joy and fulfillment. But the reality for many is that work can simply be… well, work. And that’s OK! 👨🏭An insightful article recently highlighted that not loving your job doesn’t mean you’re failing. Sometimes, work serves practical needs like stability and security, and it’s perfectly fine if it’s not your life’s passion. In fact, putting pressure on ourselves to love our jobs can add unnecessary stress, leading to feelings of guilt or inadequacy. Read more here ⬇️ https://lnkd.in/esPDp9Zg 💚At Cairns Counselling, we encourage a balanced perspective. It’s important to find meaning in life beyond work – whether through hobbies, relationships, or personal growth. If you’re struggling with job-related stress or feeling disconnected from your work, we’re here to listen and support you. Remember, your worth goes far beyond your career. 📞 01224 633131 ✉️info@cairnscounselling.org.uk 🌐https://lnkd.in/ewU3VP3z #MentalHealthAwareness #CairnsCounselling #JobSatisfaction #Counselling #MentalHealth #Aberdeen

Today, on Remembrance Day, we at Cairns Counselling pause to honour and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness continue to inspire us all. As we wear our poppies with pride, we acknowledge the vital work of Poppyscotland and the Poppy Appeal, whose ongoing efforts support veterans and their families. The poppy is not only a symbol of remembrance but also of hope for a better future. Let us take a moment today to reflect on the freedoms we enjoy and express our deepest gratitude to those who served—and continue to serve—our nation. We will remember them. @
