We were delighted to be involved with Mark Allison on supporting this initiative of giving stock to colleges to help them train the installers of the future 👨🏫 Just this week Keir Starmer announced an initiative for the UK to become an AI superpower. Solar & Batteries will be a part of that discussion; we actually quoted on a data centre whose energy consumption increased by 3x following the advent of AI. SMR will play a role, but AI is here today and only Solar is here today at both affordability and scale. So, for now at least, Solar wins. It’s taken a week to get around to this because we have been rushed off our feet 🦶 but we’ve got the famous new signing photo underneath the hallowed lights ✍️ 💡 To the left of me is Mike Robinson who has joined us as our Operations Manager. Mike joins us having been a Founder/General Manager of a food wholesale business, an COO for a full service digital marketing, research, and tech business and as an Operations Director for an accountancy practice getting their business fighting fit for the next phase of growth. Most recently he has had his own consultancy providing support, and guidance, to Accountancy practices all over the UK. With his experience in Wholesale, Tech, and Finance, we couldn’t have found anyone better to take Callidus Wholesale Ltd forwards into year 3 and beyond 🚀 To my right we have the self described word nerd himself Bob Taylor joining us as a Marketing Co-ordinator and Copywriting specialist. Bob started his career working in Insurance Sales in Dorset progressing to Sales Team Lead and Quality Control. Whilst in Quality Control he learned what words worked and realised that what he was learning was the art of copywriting ✒️ Bob has most recently been running his own Copywriting Agency and has been doing this the last 5 years. With Bobs experience working in a detail oriented Sales environment in Insurance, and having his own experience running his own Agency, we know that he will help the sausage sizzle into our 3rd year 🌭 These signings is how we move from a team of “generalists” to “specialists” which allows us to dial in our service to customers, and supplier relationships, further than we have before. This is the most exciting development since starting the business and I hope you join me in wishing Mike and Bob the very best of luck as they board the Solarcoaster 🎢 🌞

With it being just before Christmas we aren't convinved it landed on many peoples bandwidth (understandably - there were mince pies, beer, wine, etc waiting!) so we thought we would drop an article explaining the bill a bit further as it is being voted upon this coming Friday the 17th. I first applied for this co-author thingy back on 23/24 of December and only had this come over yesterday - not even on time for NYE - doh! Thankfully, Callidus Wholesale Ltd provides a much more timely and cultivated customer service experience as regular customers, suppliers, stakeholders, and followers of these pages and posts will know. It still stuns me that I have as many followers on here as my Childhood village (it was a very small village, I will be more interested if I ever reach the dizzy heights of my home City of Southampton circa 300,000 so only 250,000 to go!!) I have no interest in being an "influencer" but do want to be a responsible and vocal partner in the Renewables community and see LinkedIn and other forums as vehicles for that.
