To start wednesday morning off - we thought we would give an update about our revamped website project. They've been live for about 2 months now - but the recent project has changed the way our websites operate and have given us more flexibility to introduce new features across the board - all thanks to the team over at Iocea eCommerce Solutions. For context - we started our partnership with Iocea eCommerce Solutions back in 2013 with our flagship site - www.gardengiftshop.co.uk. This was a big move for us - but made a lot easier with the Iocea team's approach to migrating us over. Iocea have their own custom built platforms - meaning everything built to specification and design. Their backend cShop platform and Content Managment System allows us to dynamically add products, categories, pages, elements and enhancements to our site. Over the years we have dived into new markets and along the way Iocea have been there to assist us with our online presence - for example - https://lnkd.in/gcuN_5zp, www.ukfirewoodlogs.co.uk, www.ukfinefoods.co.uk and www.see-marine.co.uk. The challenging part - was keeping on top of all our sites features. So Iocea eCommerce Solutions visioned a new way to keep our sites at the same level - by having a single code base for all the sites and making each site a variation of the code base. This means anything feature based is developed once and shared to all - and anything content or product based is unuiqe per site. This has given us a leap forward with all our sites and enabled us to add more features across the board. Massive thanks to the wholeforce effort at Iocea eCommerce Solutions for all they do for us! We recieved a heartfelt video this week! Meet Andy Walker in the video. Andy and his cousin Lisa Walker approached us a few weeks ago reference a charity fundraising bike ride they are completing from Lands' end to John O'Groats. They liked the idea of our Command Comm intercom system - which provides a duplex intercom communication using 2.4Ghz radio channels. Completely Handsfree! Because of Andy's inspiring story and the causes he is raising money for - we felt only right that we dontate this product set for him to use! For Andy and Lisa this equipment means he can communicate with his team on their journey for safety as well as morale! It's fantastic what you are doing Andy and we can't wait to follow the journey!
