Loodswezen are building 4 further M-Class boats at Next Generation Shipyards. Following on from 'Mira', the first in series, the M-Class have made signifcant reductions in fuel consumption and emissions via the Camarc Refined hull, an extensive weight control programme and Tier III emissions systems.

Good News! Our new Pilot boat emerged from the Holyhead Marine Services Ltd facility this week for the first time! Camarc Design Sea trials await next and arrival in Falmouth Harbour, Cornwall in 3 weeks or so depending on weather window. 3 years in the making we are very excited to see this incredible vessel. Grandweld Shipyards of the UAE have completed a further series of Camarc 21m aluminium waterjet Crewboats for operations in the Middle East. These vessels feature cargo deck and crew transfer capabilities, with transit speeds up to 28 Knots.

13m RIB "Celtic Avenger" built by AluTec Marine has recently been delievered to Specialised Marine Support Ltd and swiftly put into service. This is the second of the SMS AluTec series and will join "Celtic Guardian" built in 2015.

The Belfast Harbour have taken delivery of their new state-of-the-art and first in series 15.2m dedicated pilot vessel. The Camarc 15.2m is the latest model to join Holyhead Marine Services Ltd pilot range, complementing the existing Camarc 13m and 16.6m models. The 15.2m design features Camarc’s refined pilot specific hull design, offering enhanced comfort and improved fuel efficiencies, with emissions being further reduced via Tier III SCR systems. The hull and layout form a dedicated pilot configuration with aft wheelhouse and forward engine room, fitted with the Popsure fender system for added protection, and a resilient wheelhouse for added comfort.

The Port of Milford Haven have selected a Camarc 22m pilot series design to be built by Next Generation Shipyards for their new vessel, which will join their existing fleet of Camarc heavy weather pilot boats. This vessel will combine the selfrighting capability of the 22m series built in the US with the latest enhancements from the 22m series built in Europe in terms of hull efficiency, emissions control and comfort. All-aluminium construction and waterjet propulsion will be used for increased manoeuvrability and transit speeds of 25+ knots, whilst ride control systems will be utilised to improve crew comfort.

Yesterday we launched our new vessel Celtic Avenger. More details to follow soon but safe to say she’s a belter! First and foremost we have to say a HUGE THANK YOU to the one and only Edwin and his team at AluTec Marine Ltd who managed to get her finished in only four months. An extraordinary effort and a testament to their skill as boat builders. Our thanks also go to Davie Simcox at Electrotec Marine, Philip at Yampower Ribs and Robbie and the lads from Fort William.
