Higher education institution representatives from across Europe recently gathered for our Higher Education Advisory Council (HEAC) Europe Meeting at the IE University in Madrid, Spain, for two enriching days of discussion. 🤝 Attendees delved into key industry updates, explored quality assurance in #CambridgeSchools, discussed the latest advancements in Digital Assessment and AI and identified opportunities to enhance Higher Education initiatives through collaboration across Europe. At an inspirational visit to the English Montessori School, Council Members had the privilege of engaging with the school's alumni and current year 13 students. We heard how their education, particularly Cambridge International A-levels, benefited them in competitive entrance exams and university pursuits in Spain and beyond. A heartfelt thank you to all 2024 Cambridge International Education HEAC Europe meeting participants. The event showcased impressive institutions committed to delivering top-tier education, and their enthusiasm and insightful contributions were truly inspiring. We were thrilled to welcome over 30 Principals and Senior Teachers from schools across Romania and Moldova to our recent Principals’ Forum in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. 🌍 Attendees gained deeper insights into our programmes and qualifications, with fascinating presentations on the Cambridge Approach to Assessment and our recent project mapping the Cambridge Primary Programme to the Romanian Primary Curriculum. 📚🔍 For the first time, we were joined by representatives from universities in Romania and Cyprus, sparking valuable discussions on how Cambridge qualifications can support students' progression to higher education. 🤝 We shared exciting updates on our latest syllabuses and resources, the Cambridge GO platform and Cambridge Centre for Evaluation & Monitoring, highlighting how baseline assessments can optimise educational outcomes. 📈💡 The event was a tremendous success, bringing together #CambridgeSchools and those interested in joining our community.
