  • To wrap up Black History Month 2024 and honour Caribbean veterans, we're delighted to share a short film directed by our service user / carer Governor Neil Davies. The video, made by members of the veterans' service users group at St Pancras, features author and historian Maureen Dickson who presents highlights from her research of the life of these remarkable men. Neil, who is also Governor Sponsor of the Veteran’s Group and belongs to the Governors’ Working Groups, said: "As veterans and ex-soldiers, we felt an honour to celebrate and remember those, who came and not only fought for our democracy but came back and helped rebuild the country after war. We did not receive the credit for our service at that time, however, we hope our descendants can take pride in their service. I certainly, think, it's an inspirational story and needs to be told across the widest horizon possible." Watch the film 👉 https://bit.ly/4e4iybz

  • Last night we held our last AGM as the North London Mental Health Partnership. It was fantastic to see so many members of the public, staff, service users and carers come together to look at our achievements from the past year and look forward as we become North London NHS Foundation Trust on Friday 1 November. Guests were able to visit service stalls to learn more about our initiatives and upcoming projects. Later, we heard from our Executive Team and members of our Youth Board, young people with lived experience in our Children’s and Young People’s Services, who shared insights on the value of co-production and the impact of lived experiences in shaping future services. Thank you to everyone who joined us! You can read a summary of our annual reports here: https://bit.ly/4e9X8K6

  • As part of our Black History Month celebrations across the Partnership, our CAMHS team brought together staff across their Barnet, Enfield and Haringey sites for a brilliant celebration! From engaging panel discussions on reclaiming narratives to historical music games and a feast of traditional foods, it was a meaningful time to reflect and honour Black history and culture. Thanks to the CAMHS team and everyone who joined in to make this celebration so impactful!🖤 #BlackHistoryMonth

  • Did you know the NHS Staff Survey is one of the largest of its kind in the world?   The annual survey is one of the best ways for NHS staff to anonymously share their feedback on their role, organisation and the wider NHS.   We each have a voice that counts and we want all our staff to have an opportunity to have their say. By sharing feedback, experiences and ideas, the staff survey helps us understand what it’s like to work here and what improvements can be made.   The survey helps us:   👂Listen to our staff and find out what matters to them   🔍Identify where to focus our attention and key areas for change   📈Find out what improvements can be made   😃Measure job satisfaction and how we improve opportunities and retention   If you work with us, we want to hear from you. To have your say check your inbox for an email from Picker (picker_surveys@picker.org) with the subject line ‘Staff Survey 2024’.   Remember the survey is confidential and only takes 15 minutes to complete.   #NHSStaffSurvey #WeEachHaveAVoiceThatCounts

  • Today marked the second session of our NHS Leadership Forum, and it was fantastic to welcome so many new faces! 🎉 We kicked off with insightful updates from our executive team as we move towards becoming one new trust, focusing on how we can best support our staff and service users during this transition. A big thank you to our Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment team in Barnet for sharing their incredible work — your dedication to delivering top-quality care is truly inspiring. 🙌 We then explored the Leadership Framework, discussing the importance of compassionate leadership in fostering a positive culture and driving meaningful change. 💡 The session closed with an engaging Q&A with our exec team, where we tackled key questions from across the organization. 💬
