Thank you to the Open University Astronomy Club for hosting us again! 🔭 🌕 We had excellent visibility and observed Jupiter, Saturn and Neptune through the telescope. We also got to touch and even try to lift a large piece of meteorite. We couldn't manage it, though, as it was too heavy! Adrian and the volunteers from OU were brilliant. They set up two telescopes outside specifically for Helen and Patrick, allowing them to enjoy the view of the planets as well. Big thanks to Ewa, our award-winning support worker, who reached out to the OU to arrange the visits. We’re Recruiting for a House Coordinator (Maternity Cover). In this role, you will work closely with our Care & Support Managers to ensure the highest standards of care and support for residents, staff, and volunteers in line with our values. You will need a minimum of Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) with a willingness to work towards Level 4/5. At least 1 year of experience managing services for residents with autism and learning disability. A clean driving licence and ability to drive. This is a fixed-term role for maternity cover.
