Canada Day London is the organizer of London’s annual Canada Day celebration in Trafalgar Square that takes place each year on a date close to Canada Day (July 1st). The goal of the event is to showcase the best of Canada to Londoners and tourists alike while bringing together the many Canadian expat communities that call the UK their home. The event is the largest celebration of Canadian culture worldwide; attracting over 30,000 visitors in its relaunch year. As part of the event, Canada Day London also programs the Canada-UK Business Summit and a series of business networking events to promote closer ties with the Canadian and UK business communities. I can’t believe it’s already been two weeks since Canada Day London! What an immense pleasure it was being the in-square host for the second year! I thought last year was huge, but this year was BIGGER and BETTER! I had the opportunity to meet new people, see familiar faces, and have a blast playing Canadian Trivia with people from around the world.
