We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our new company initiative, Can° Impact. Cantourage UK’s CSR project created by our passionate team, reflects our commitment to giving back to the community, led by 2 of our wonderful employees Yohan Fernandes and Eva Bernarda Haro-Harris. As we prepare to move to the Can° Factory, the name we have given to our new home in Bethnal Green, we're also saying a heartfelt goodbye to the London Borough of Hackney which has been our home for the past three years. In honour of this and the launch of our new initiative, we wanted to give back to our community within the Hackney area. We’re proud to support Shelter, the incredible charity that tirelessly supports individuals facing housing challenges as well as campaigning for a better housing system. We organised a special company walk to assemble and distribute care packages to those in need. We couldn’t be prouder of our team’s efforts to volunteer and make an impact. One of our founders, Gabriel Newman, stated "We’re thrilled that our team has spearheaded this initiative. It’s not only an opportunity to make a positive impact on the local community but also a reflection of Cantourage's core values—helping others, giving back, and driving meaningful change". So, as we transition to the Can° Factory in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, we’re excited for all the future opportunities Can° Impact will bring as we continue to support the communities around us. Last weekend, Farah H. and Hina Sarwar from our clinical team proudly represented us at the Clinical Pharmacy Congress in Manchester. Their poster was shortlisted for exhibition, standing alongside numerous high-calibre projects from across the pharmacy sector. This congress provided an incredible platform to connect with fellow professionals and highlight the potential of medicinal cannabis as a valuable alternative therapy for patients with diverse healthcare needs. Many healthcare professionals are still unfamiliar with the legal status and clinical benefits of medicinal cannabis. For patients facing ongoing, unmet clinical, medicinal cannabis offers a vital alternative pathway. At Cantourage, we’ve witnessed firsthand how this therapy can significantly improve the quality of life for individuals dealing with conditions such as anxiety, chronic pain, and various psychological disorders. By participating in these broader conversations and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, we’re able to provide more holistic, patient-centred care.
